Mods Causing CTDs, Need Help! ):

Hi! Long story short, I have around 50 mods on my play through, and when I get into game my Fallout 4 inevitably crashes to desktop with no error message. Sometimes it occurs after 5 minutes, or other times maybe an hour if I'm lucky. Either way it is extremely annoying and is inhibiting my ability to enjoy this game as it should be enjoyed. The reason that I'm posting this plea for help on here is because I am almost certain that Sim Settlements is causing the CTDs, as they often happen in my settlements while I'm in workshop mode (but not always). I'm not a computer savvy person, so if you need to see my load order or that Papyrus report thing, let me know! thank you!

Sinon, désactivez un par un vos mods et testez pour voir si le jeu fonctionne, pour voir quels mods provoquent le CTD

- my mods are for the most part up to date, except for some. such as AWKCR, which I dont have the latest version for because it said it required DLC, which I do not have.
- I have sim settlements installed AND also the 3in1 version, but I did that within the past week. The crashes have been happening long before that, so I do not believe that is the problem.
- I tried disabling mods 1 by 1 already but I still could not seem to find the problem. Perhaps if I send my load order as LOOT arranged it for me you may be able to identify possible suspects?

Not familiar with all of your mods, but I'm wondering if the Slow Time mod is messing with things it shouldn't, and that might be causing issues with SS.

first thing I look at is Better Settlers, not that it is your problem but for me to get an understanding for where the user is in understanding general modding and things like what loot can and can not do:

  1. Load Order (IMPORTANT):
    <<<Eli's Armor Compendium and/or Azar's Ponytail Hairstyles (optional)>>>
    <<<Any other Settler Mods>>>
    BetterSettlers.esp
    <<<Any Better Settler Patches that you might use from other authors>>>>
    <<<Any Better Settler Optional Packs like Lollygagging, Clean face, or Light or Heavy Armor Types (optional)>>>

Between all you have said, what you have had active earlier in your save file and some fairly advanced mods compounded by updated mods that pull from un-updated ones that are foundational and touch everything. Lastly, as you said you have disabled your mods and still have the problem and it has been going on for a while and you have moved forward in the save file. oh, man. :cray

I am not sure anyone can really help. I sure know that what I see is beyond me.

Sorry-man, I really want to help but there really is a lot going on here that isn't real good.

Just being honest sorry about the pessimistic response. If that is unacceptable then going back before the problems in your save could help but not what I am recommending here.

Maybe take a look at the below before your next run.

A couple of things I see:

Minuteman Watchtowers breaks the precombines/previs data in the cells where it places the towers, as do all of Elianora's mods. This can cause significant instability and problems in those areas of the map.

Weapons of Fate changes the vanilla records for all ammunition types, suppressor mods, and for all projectiles. This isn't necessarily bad, but it could cause some issues.

The mod author for Live Dismemberment says on the file page to only use one version of the .esp file at a time. You appear to have all 7 versions of the .esp active. This likely doesn't help with stability.

LOOT doesn't really tell you much about compatibility, as far as I know. You would need to use FO4Edit to manually check the files, though that still doesn't show everything. You would also need to use Bethesda Archive Extractor to open the .ba2 files and manually check for script changes to truly confirm that mods are compatible.

I recommend following the systematic "mod causing a CTD" checking procedure below:
  1. Start a new character with no mods activated, play until you exit Vault 111, then save the game. This will be your starting test save.
  2. Now, activate your mods in batches of 5-10, and save the game on loading in, until you get a CTD. One of the files in the batch of 5-10 you just activated is likely the culprit.
  3. Go back to the save right before you loaded the problem batch, then activate mods one at a time until you find the problem file.

Mods pas mis à jour aussi, je ne suis pas expert mais je pense qu'entre la sortie de Fallout 4 en 2015 et Fallout 4 2018, beaucoup de choses ont changé et beaucoup de changements ont été apportés.

Avez-vous mis beaucoup de choses dans votre établissement? libérer un gros chargement de données à la fois, planter votre jeu.

Les erreurs de scripts peuvent également provoquer un CTD, ce n'est pas drôle, mais créez un nouveau jeu, trichez dans le coffre 111, prenez des colonies et testez si vous avez le même problème, si votre sauvegarde est corrompue ( J'ai eu des problèmes avec le mod "V", qui avait corrompu le script de ma sauvegarde.
Sauvegardez-vous des données propres avant d'installer vos mods? (cela aide en cas de problème, et évite de réinstaller le jeu)

I don't think that any of the mods listed require DLC, but I know Weapons of Fate has a DLC version. Fallout 4 shouldn't load at all, however, if the master file is missing.

It won't really hurt anything not to to update Armor Keywords, Armorsmith Extended, Binoculars, or Hunting Shotgun, though they could cause some issues with some of the changes Bethesda has made to the crafting benches. Updating is most important when the changelog indicates a bugfix, or the mod is heavily scripted, since those changes can cause major issues. However, I'm 99% sure that Synth Overhaul likely isn't compatible with any version of Armor Keywords/Armorsmith Extended without a patch, and I didn't see one available on either page (I may have missed it).

Yeah, I unfortunately have to agree with RayBo here. Your save file likely has a lot of baked-in artifacts from the mods you've disabled that are contributing to the crashing issues. You may need to clean things up and start fresh. :(

I forgot to ask you, do some of your mods need the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch? When you download the mods, it does not require you to download any other mod before

I've seen several mod authors do this in order to force their mod and its resources to load before other mods. It isn't necessarily a problem that would generate CTDs, but it isn't a great practice.

I would update armorsmith but it says it requires AWKCR 6.2 or newer. When I go to the AWKCR page, it says under requirements some of the various DLC. I don't have any of them. Can I still get the latest version or will it not work since I don't have any DLC?

I just started a new game with no mods active, and my game CTD at the part when I was asked to go play with baby Shaun..I have no idea what to do now.
