So, I am planning on making a Add-on that will be adding alot more resources into Sim Settlements, but I was wondering something.
Is it possible to lock certain Buildings away until certain quests (from the main game, added in later, or even from other mods) are completed?
The main reason I ask this is because I want to make a certain recourse farm-able for your settlers, but you don't learn about it until you get pretty far in the game. So to keep it abit more Lore Friendly, I was wanting to lock said plot from visibility until the quest is completed.
I would think that there is something like this since the Industrial plots use a mechanic somewhat like this for their upgrade system (Building A can not be Upgraded unless Resource A = Number, and Building D is already built).
If anyone is already familiar with how to do this, I would love an example on how to do so myself, plus, I think it would make SIM Settlements much better as a whole if other Add-on could take advantage of the possible knowlege gained here for their own uses. :3
