looked at your castle wall rebuild, very nice but did you know you can build cement foundations that hang out from the wall so you can build businesses and such without taking up valuable open area ?

I did it on the sea sides facing the water so not to block attack positions and built all the housing around the base of the walls lust sorta like medieval castle settlements. .

Try F12 for screen shots. I think that is the steam default

PrtScr should also work

The problem with the castle wall rebuild is that it covers navmeshed areas that the game doesn’t catch on to. So after the Institute or BoS attacks you end up with Minutemen trying to walk through a second gap which no longer exists, dammit.

The overall problem is that the whole area looks so damn messed up without a decent-looking wall rebuild.

I still think that the minefield I laid out once was a great classic. Pity that it ended up with me reverting to an earlier save because of the stupid AI.

It’s the old problem of why ScrapEverything was created. The Sole Survivor can tear down a building, yet a shovel and a slasher are beyond them LOL

I hope I live to see a sandbox-style game in which the entire world space is dynamic.

If you throw a grenade near a building, it gets damaged. Or set on fire by a molotov.

Boarded-up buildings can be broken into.

Trash can be cleaned up.

Everything can be repurposed/salvaged.

Time passes. People age. People have kids. Kids grow up.

Plants grow.

Things fall apart without maintenance.

Etc.

Hozsa, has kind of been the navmesh goto guy..

I just always wait to enable it until after I take the castle back.

Just make sure it is near the bottom of your load order.

Very nice mod, if a little bit too tidy of a result for my personal taste.

I particularly like how he changed the bricked-up windows to bars. It's those little touches that show real pride and skill.

I like it as it lets me place a lot more internal plots in the spaces he created inside the wall.

With Ronnie running the show I do expect things to become STRAC and “Dress-Right-Dress”
