Primary Bug Report Plotting the Future - Quest does not advance and Jake locks up after building Agricultural Plot

Just got back from concord, put the farming plot down and he just stands there and stares at it. I feel like it might be related to place anywhere or workshop+?

Same problem. He creates the agricultural farm, then gets selective mutism.

I’ve reinstalled it and he still stops after he’s done talking

im going to be trying a new game with just ss2 tomorrow, might be having a rough time with other mods

I've only got as far as him building the farm. After that he just follows me about and trying to interact with him just results in trading equipment.

Got through by loading an earlier save and hugging him.

I also had a similar issue with the residential plot. I figured out was a pathing issue. Once I built stairs on the plot he started moving. As a suggestion maybe add some voice line or text indicating that he is unable to access a plot or something

that's strange, i put the plot on the ground, didn't adjust to make it look nice or anything and he still did it. I'll try hugging him and see if it does it, i really dont want to start over again lol

Seems when the stranger is building you need to stay real close and not get distracted. Remembering to save often is something this has reminded me to do also, so you can drop back and try again if something goes wrong. I'm zooming along in the storyline now.

yeah it just aint doing it for me, ive tried it at red rocket where it's nice and flat and it just doesnt continue. I wouldn't mind just finishing the quest with console commands if it meant i could see more of the mod. Do i use the city manager thing as soon as i get it? i feel like im missing something, but it could just be buggy or something conflicting with ss2

I get to where the stranger starts to build the home and the game crashes. Any ideas

I am also stuck after he attempts to build the agri plot, the base level pre-building materials are there but he never finishes the plot it seems even though the quest target completes, I guess we need to wait on the wiki unless anyone has the quest id, then we can advance through the console

im going to keep throwing stuff at it until i figure it out, i got nothing better to do.

i froze on the next part. he made the agriculture plot ok but the froze after finishing the industrial plot. the plot is completed but he just follows me and the plot says it won't register until the quest is done and he just wants to trade when i talk to him.

so there was something conflicting with ss2, im gonna start looking into it to find out which one was causing it

Once the Stranger is finished building the agricultural plot, he just freezes, and nothing can be done to fix him.

also hopefully the hotfixes will address this issue
