Suggestion Suggestions for New Martial Plot Add-on pack.

Oh, I'm just a plot freak. In the end,:clap I shamelessly promote them all and race around the map trying to find places I want to put them. I always suggest more, even though there are still some I haven't tried. haha, I just added Uituits bloat fly plot to the Slog for the very first time. :mosking As much as I play one would think I have tried them all. :crazy

Still, two of the most enjoyable things about all this is:
1. all the excitement
2. pra's drawing.
:rollseye

:acute This is all, "a good thing"
Thanks, Sirlach for hosting such a great thread.
I really like coming here and helping folks, but honestly, threads like this, is why I come. :good

Some plots utilizing these would be nice. A lot of existing martial plots annoy me from a roleplaying standpoint because bullets would rip right through most of the materials used to build them. While obviously the finer points of fortress building were lost after the bombs fell, we've known how to make trenches for taking cover from projectiles since before gunpowder was a thing. Medieval siege lines tended to look an awful lot like scenes from WW1, with swords and chainmail rather than guns and bayonets.

You could either make modular trench plots that were designed to be placed together, or if you set it up right, martial plots could be used as specific strongpoints while allowing players to set up their own trenches around it. Just snap trenches onto the end of plot-generated trenches. Could make concrete pillboxes designed to be built into a trench line, or hell, one of the DLCs adds in a whole slew of concrete building parts that nobody's used. You don't need to make anything especially fancy, there's a good chunk of building sets that nobody's bothered using in a plot yet.

There's also a disturbing lack of martial themed residential plots, or military themed non-martial plots in general, something which would likely become very popular now that Conquest Outposts are a thing.

Could make something either in the form of a barracks structure, orrrr...

That little tiny hole in the wall? That's a bed, dug right into the side of the trench.

Same here 100%

An internal pass through plot sounds so cool.I love the border checkpoint drawing so much!
Ooh, to go with all the tree themed plots available, a treehouse martial plot. Or a car themed one, like a car as a blockade.
Indeed, I am thinking about if I can imagine a version I can make.

I am also thinking about fortress plot ideas

Unfortunately that is impossible per their permission terms. With what they have put it is not allowed to package, modify, or even use in any way by referencing it as a master by making our plugin be dependent.

Best bet for an Addon Maker is to recreate the assets themselves.

I do quite like your ideas! Long term I am planning to get into 3D, I am planning to build a better PC for this.

There is nice stuff in the sandbag fortifications mod, so I could consider trying to make my own version of things for use in a plot. I like these: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/21358/21358-1551207837-1106626615.jpeg

@QuickDeath007 - What would you say if I told you I am one step ahead and already have permission from that author! :)

Now, that "is a good thing"

I have used Sandbag Fortifications for so long. Being an ex-Army officer it is just one of the mods I always install, no questions asked.

Now to wake-up and, whoa "you have permission" "are you sh-t'n me" hell-man :dance2put that up front. To me, that is a big deal :declare

In-fact, it requires me to make a profound statement. Incorporation of (SF) into (SS) add-ons, ha! Sirlach, that is a "hooah and a half! Yes, in the world of hooah there is a scale, it is called the "hooah scale of life!" See here, it goes something like this:
:blush
"negative-hooah" = you stepped in sh-t :sad, and went to a wedding :suicide2
"hooah" = "a good thing" :declare you walk around sh-t, napped at wedding
"double-hooah" = you magically elevate over sh-t, get free boos "no wedding" the reception is casual, the maids :angel are frisky :love and the boos are hard :drinks
"triple-hooah" = Sorry, :beee this "hooah" is reserved for the type of S-x :happythat blows the windows out of apartment buildings :mosking

:acute

@RayBo - I am very honoured to have earned a 1.5 hooah from you Sir! (And thank you for your service!).
I look forward to experiencing a 3xHooah one day in life. :)
I have not had the distinction of serving but I do love my military history and the lack of serious fortifications in the game meant that I jumped on SF as soon as I found it! :)

Or a1x1 internal plot of an airport scanner - but like the scanners in Fallout 4 ... with an airport guard (lol) waiting with a hand held scanner!

Or a radiation cleaning arch, 1x1, with a medical cart and emergency kit container with stimpaks.. an attending physician at the ready... in a hazmat suit just in case you are toast... (glowing sea plot?)
