You can put it between spoiler tags :D I am always looing for interesting mods to use in my play throughsI a fan of weapons and armour/clothes. The list is too extensive for a single post. Like Ardent's Armours and guns, especially the uniforms. In the weapon category my three "if you go to an island and only can take..." are the AKEFB, probably the best and complete AK mod (Discord), the MK18 and the RU556 (Nexus)
The second thing I love are the quest mods, cause is the only solution to play something "new" in the old FO4. I recommend "Outlaws & Remnants", "Fourville", "Fusion City Rising"...
refresh me how to use those tabsYou can put it between spoiler tags :D I am always looing for interesting mods to use in my play throughs

They get crazy butthurt over the pimps and prostitutes in Thuggysmurf mods even though there was a quest to become a porn star in Fallout 2 and FNV featured a questline involving recruiting for a I love you house catering to cowboy fetish ghouls and "fisting" robots. (some) Fallout players be cray.Semi related - one thing i always find hilarious is people on forums (not this one) accusing gun-mod makers of being lore unfriendly, when the gun they added to fo4 was IN PREVIOUS FALLOUTS. Seen it on the Nexus page comments of the P90c and the HK G11. (both were in fo2)
So, not related but since people are talking mods, I’m looking to have something like Chef, but that’s not available on Xbox. Finally remembered one of the other "little tweak" mods I liked, but hadn't thought of it until about an hour ago: "Real Dogmeat Armor". Gives actual defense stats to the 'dog-only equipment' that Dogmeat and Raider Dogs wear. Not tons, but enough to make some kind of sense instead of the vanilla "strapping 5 pounds of steel to the sides of a dog somehow doesn't make them more durable" nonsense.
Real Dogmeat Armor
Changes the various dog armors, collars and helmets to provide varying levels of DR and ER. Doubler and "Uber" variants are included in the installer as well as versions that render the body awww.nexusmods.com
I like overpowered but I give my gun mods to the bad guys too so it balances. Makes even for even playing field. It doesn't help the creatures get tougher but it makes settlement attacks and going into a Gunner camp a lot more interesting.I tend to be very reluctant to use weapon mods. All of the ones I have tried make the new weapons overpowered. I play mostly on survival so most things can kill (or be killed) with 3 shots any way. Legendary monsters are a big deal and mega fauna a literal big deal. Single burst firing to kill a legendary mirelurk queen is not a fun game.
Now if a mod is just cosmetic? Yeah I would love a service rifle mod. It should have shorter range but be lighter and its ammo should also be lighter. (Which btw lighter is a pretty big improvement in survival)

Ive seen some that add recipes but some seem to modify some locations and god knows what locations SS2 does stuff with.
Does anyone use any mods for different foods, more recipes, etc?
also, I think someone mentioned Skillzerx (I think) Weapon Pack, which I had never heard of and I looked at it on Xbox and it says it’s less than 1Mb but adds jillions of things. I think I don’t get what that mod does but is there any reason that wouldn’t play nice with SS2?
Yes, in fact I always find it very funny that any player of any video game invokes tradition or the other great word "realistic" in a setting where almost nothing has a reference to reality itself. In the case of guns, almost any firearm that has FO4 is a sister in the real-parallel world, only it's the cheap, ugly, and usually the shitty sister of the original. Example: the tommy gun. It sucks on the model (when I was a kid I played with better plastic versions) and it sucks on the stats, in a way that a stick does more damage.Semi related - one thing i always find hilarious is people on forums (not this one) accusing gun-mod makers of being lore unfriendly, when the gun they added to fo4 was IN PREVIOUS FALLOUTS. I actually played back through Fallout2 a few months back (just before SS2 first launched, actually) - there is a LOT of gross/lewd stuff in there I'd either forgotten or never caught when I first played it as a youngster. That's without even getting into things like everyone in Post-War California communicating almost exclusively in 90s Pop Culture References, or all the fourth wall breaking...They get crazy butthurt over the pimps and prostitutes in Thuggysmurf mods even though there was a quest to become a porn star in Fallout 2 and FNV featured a questline involving recruiting for a I love you house catering to cowboy fetish ghouls and "fisting" robots. It is something prophetic: after the apocalypse of the world of the 2000s and its sickly political correction, we will return to the brutal and honest language of the '90s. I can't hit like hard enough on this comment! The only PC speach I like to talk is to my computer. But I am not and never will be politically correct. It is something prophetic: after the apocalypse of the world of the 2000s and its sickly political correction, we will return to the brutal and honest language of the '90s.
