I do not know if I have that option on console but I will try. Currently I am trying a brand new game run with the unofficial patch disabled.I can confirm it. Never had a problem before during ss1 and ss2 times, but now it didn't spawn. I have unofficial, but not raze.
The box had a paintbrush at least, so it spawned something... just not the locket.
Returning the Favor question is listed in the data tab, so it was given by Abernathy. But I met him after the Casting the Line quest, unlike every other time where I ended up at the farm much earlier than completing that quest.

Doors intercom? Is that the one at Olivia?Wow I dust had this happen today. The mission pointer was missing too.
Solved it by leaving the Olivia building then using the doors intercom to reset ss2.
the pointer immediately appeared and the locket was in the toolbox as usual.
I had the same thing this evening too. I never had this issue before, with either ch 1 or 2. I solved it in the same way as above. I also noticed, at the end doorway off the corridor with the toilets, there seems to be an invisible barrier in the doorway. Anybody else getting this?I noticed the intercom when entering Olivia base.
so, I used it and the Abernathy quest marker became active and Mary’s locket was where it should be.
jake will be gone but raiders respawned, so you have to fight them again.
It might be worth testing to use the intercom before entering and see if that fixes the waypoint marker
and still completing Jakes quest too.

Yeah, just did that and was able to get the locket as well. I did find it weird that all the doors were unlocked. Thank you for pointing that out. I would have never thought about using that to get the quest done.Well I just tested the Olivia door controller
I think its function is backwards. The door controller says restore access to ss2 version.
‘if you select it the Abernathy quest will work. But Jake won’t do his thing. Also the comhub is missing., plus all locked doors including the computer are unlocked.
Selectong option Restore original area does the opposite and allows for jakes quest to complete.
Any ways my advice is do jakes quest first, leave the bunker and use the door controller to switch to ss2 version
so you can get the locket.

that is strange as i recal having gone to olivia lots of times before visiting abernathy and always had the luck of telling the leader there u found the locket in the toolbox downstairs before the lockpicked door!The locket is spawned by quest MinRecruit03, if you haven't agreed to take over the Minutemen, this quest is not started and the locket won't be there.
(This isn't be remembering it either - I just traced through the Creation Kit to confirm how Bethesda set it up and to make sure nothing we did in Olivia would interfere)
I just started the mod and had the same issue. There is a switch next to the door that SS2 added. Says you can toggle existence of it. I clicked the "restore access to SS2 version". Instantly the mission marker popped up like the locket was inside. Sure enough it was. When I left I restored it back. So try changing the door access.I just started encountering this issue. The mods that I just started using, that I haven't used before, are the unofficial fallout patch and raze. I've had numerous playthroughs with SS2 being installed and the locket has been where it is supposed to be in each one pf those playthroughs. Can anyone else confirm this?
I know this says solved but, this is a new development for me.
The switch next to the door you enter, click restore access to SS2. Worked for me. After you leave restore access again so the door goes back to how it was originallyI have the same problem. Pretty sure in both Chapter 1 and 2 (which I have played multiple times), the locket has been there while going there with Jake, and before agreeing to take over the Minutemen.

This issue started for me after I had got the quest from Abernathy. It was right after I finished the Raiders attack on Sanctuary and we were going after the comm hub in Olivia. I started a few new games and the issue still persisted after that. I started disabling mods to make sure it wasn't one of those.Is this only an issue if you go there before getting the question from Abernathy? Because I have seen people randomly have that issue who were not using Sim Settlements (in fact, before the first version even came out).
I have never had that happen and after my first playthrough with ss2 I usually wait until I meet up with Jake before going to Olivia and do both quests at once. Of course, I pick up the locket before I have the quest.Right - so the locket doesn't appear even if you have got the quest already. I've never heard of that happening before.
Does this happen on a clean "just SS2 build"? And does it happen consistently? Is anyone able to check these things? (At least it is near the start of the game)
