did you encounter an issue with jake outside of Olivia? after you kill the raiders does he show back up before you go inside? on mine he doesn't, an he's also stuck at the typing scene even after the raiders are killed.Part two to my test.
‘I loaded a save the one with jake in tow to Olivia. Where I first encountered the problem of the Missing locket.

I understand your busy, and I thank you for getting back. As of right now I have disabled this mod and am moving on until more fixes can be made. I just can not play it, as it stands. I really want too but either my rig, my mod list, or the fact that there is just too much going on in this mod that the Fallout engine can't handle it, makes it unplayable for me. Which is too bad because I have completely fallen in love with Jake and will miss him calling me "Darling" There are some very talented people here and Bathesda does not own the rights to post-apocalyptic settlement building games. I don't know why they didn't set out on their own and make something even better. There more than smart enough. I want to thank you Mystical Panda for all your help and guidance, I will be following this mod and keeping me fingers crossed.Sorry for taking some time to reply- it really depends on the 'root' cause of the problem. If it's random it could be a specific spawned in actor, outfit, weapon or combination, a combination of running scripts of injected F4SE dlls. What would be nice is... if F4SE has a heap type buffer to keep track of which function is currently running or being utilized (with a startup option like DEBUGMODE or something in an ini file) then Buffout can check this also and report a list of what and which F4SE injected (or loaded) dll was being used. Might help see a pattern hidden in the executing code.

after updating the mod, an restarting the game an MO2 it worked an i continued on with the quest.Everything went very smoothly….not even a wandering raider to interrupt Jakes dialogue.
After clearing out the raiders in the basement and grabbing the locket I returned to Jake to help him with the raiders that spawned above.
‘Jake was standing over their bodies , more dialogue from Jake about his dented helmet …then back to the computer where he unlocks the security door.
More dialogue and the end to the quest Scaver delight.
Jake never got stuck… oh and I had Dogmeat and the creation club sentinel with me too. So come to think of it Jake did pretty good getting around .
