Scrapped too many settlement building needed for ROTC

Yep, I did that but I figured out that I also had to tear down the scrap heap so i could rebuild the IDEK LS. The only thing I'm missing now is some extra bunk beds that one of the mods I removed must have added.

Well I tried Transfer Settlements - Croup Manor ReStored since that was one that I scrapped the most (nothing but a hole in the ground) and it doesn't look promising. The TS mod warned me to wait a few days, in game, before doing anything to give the cell time to reset so maybe it'll get better next time I visit.

Not good... :D

LOL!
Nothing but a roll back to before scrapping it, or new play through will fix that. Once something is scrapped, it's permanent for that save.

Yeah, I'm trying to teach myself modding now to see if I can make the house a plugin or export it from the esm and back into the save or something. If it *can* be done it'll fix a lot of the issues from scrap mods slowing down players.

Not really... The problem is that scrap mods disabling precombined objects cause an increased load on the game rendering engine. Putting the objects back won't remove the issues, removing the scrap mods and reenabling precombineds will.

Modding this core behavior of the engine isn't a possibility at this time.

If the game's abysmal garbage cleanup hasn't actually deleted the object yet, you might have some luck going into resaver and taking the deleted flag off the missing element. You're going to need the Creation kit to even find out what that element was and most likely a fresh save you can use for testing but I suspect it could be done.

Would be quicker and less failure prone to start over tbh.

That scrapping was done months and years ago. Starting over or back to a 2015 save just before/after leaving the vault might be what I need to do...or I'll just have to live without a settlement or two...or build those manually.

Also, I reenabled the precombines in the ini and deleted the mods but I still get major FPS drops and CTDs in ROTC settlements...but not so much in the ones I built myself using SS plots. Some of which were extensively scrapped.

Update:
I fixed part of the problem but CTD still persists. I had unchecked the ultra res pack esp in NMM and installed the optimized textures but when running resource monitor I noticed the game still grabbing stuff out of the ultra texture pack so I uninstalled it. At the same time I went into the launcher and changed all the settings from ultra to high and regained a LOT of FPS. I still crash in settlements and especially when fast travelling but the FPS did improve with far less stutter.
