Welcome to Nordhagen Harbour. The original small shack on the beach soon builds into a small fishing port, then gradually develops into a well defended, tourist trap, seafront resort.
The city can eventually house and employ 15 settlers. It makes unashamed use of Uituit's water plots (Junk Town and Flotsam & Jetsum) placed in the harbour. If not using water plots you'll need to customise them with wooden foundations to make them look right. The plan also uses plots from the Year One pack, Wastelend Ventures 1 & 2, Logistic Station, and ruined Homes.01_Overview.jpg 02_Front.jpg 03_Caravans.jpg Turn left through the gates to find the Caravan section, at first this area is just to cater for the settlements own brahmin, but at level 3 it begins to cater for Bunker Hill caravans.
04_Main st.jpg A couple of apartment buildings, each including washrooms and laundries, are built to house most of the town's occupants.
05_Fishing.jpg The western end of town is where the fishermen live and work.
06_police.jpg The first building through the gates houses security, an armoury equipped with weapon and armour workshops and a warehouse with the settlements workshop and logistics.
07_Retail.jpg The commercial section of town is the last to develop.
08_Penthouse.jpg A penthouse suite will be built for the bosses use, including cooking and chemistry stations, and a planning desk over looking the bay.
09_Entertainment.jpg
The town has plenty of entertainment to keep the visitors happy.
10_Works.jpg The eastern boundary is a working area with water purification plant, and scrap collection.

Level 3 save can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/onpsd4ljzt7nd06/Nordhagen_Lvl3_NDCowdy.fos?dl=0

You should get the G2M mod.... best piers on the Nexus. Here's a pic of my Nordhagen.

The trees don't exist anymore, and the settlement has expanded a bit since I took this shot.

G2M is good, the fish farm is very useful, but we can't use non SS items in the contest.

Where'd you get the FMS Northern Star?

You can however get the Northern Star in one of Uituit's addons, Junk Town Extreme https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28180/ a plot that you build a whole settlement on top of.
As for piers, the Project Blueprint addon gives access to plenty of nice pier/ harbour pieces in the coastal set.

There is a Northerstar in Decorations > Vehicles > Boats > Cargo ship. Then it's the forth one in.
But it's causing me to CTD. Do me a favour and see if you can get place it. Save first obviously.

I did have a look in there earlier, and while scrolling through the cargo ship section I also got a CTD.

Just making sure it wasn't just me.
Hopefully KG sees the thread I made about it and has the time to fix it, because I want to use that ship this month.

Thanks.

If it doesn't get fixed, it is possible to generate things like that using the console. Just need to remember to link them to the workshop.

Teach me your ways oh wise one........
There are wiser ones on here that will hopefully chip in or that have described the details on here better (on my phone so not able to easily look).
Getting an item is the easy bit. In console typing 'help' then a search word will bring up the id's of objects. Then using that number after pt (place there) will make it appear at the cursor point, or can use place at for more control. But to make it register with transfer settlements and so actually appear in the city plan you'd need to link it to the workshop, and that bit I can't remember. There were some past discussions on the forum you might be able to find with the proper way of doing it. Or one if the experts might be able to help point us in the right direction. Liable to be tomorrow evening before I'll get a chance to look properly.

There's dock stuff in Project Blue Print anyway, with all kinds of rails etc. Dont even have to have Far Harbour dlc to use em.

Use the foundations and boardwalks for my Coastal Cottage build, for the March contest.

Yeah getting a consumable is easy, you can't spawn anything that's in the pre-combine afaik as you can't get an object id for such things.
Using the help function should find the base form ID, if its been well labeled. Otherwise it may mean looking into the construction set to find it.

Just looking at it, I feel like that's not really fair.
If we are going to go to those lengths we might as well just start building the settlements with the CK.

We will wind up with no one entering then.

I found what I was looking for. In the contest help and advice section is a post about covenant walls which has the proper instructions. Sorry can't link, still on phone.

Read it, and I still don't think it's fair.
Sure the items won't be marked as illegal but if we go down this road it will put the contest beyond any new people wanting to enter as you'll need a working knowledge of the CK to have any hope of winning.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.
