Old Post Industrial Revolution Tech Tree Discovery *SPOILERS*

Is there an actual new plot design to the level 4 Agucultural (damn it, can't spell it correctly) plots?
For Kinggath's there is. They have sprinklers instead of a water pump, the settler gets a chair, theres some more clutter, same amount of plants I think. Not sure about the level 4 plots that you can get with some add ons.

Yes, but you need to have a lumber mill as well.

Are you sure? I have a settlement without a lumber mill that contains a tool and die shop. Is the lumber mill requirement tied to a global instead of the workshop?

I'm sure I read it somewhere :grin
If something has upgraded it still counts as whatever it was previously for the purposes of qualifying for upgrades so if you have a coal mine, paper mill etc that would still count as a lumber mill, but I just read it, assumed it was correct and built both a steel mine and a lumber mill.

Pretty sure the tool and die shop is global

I didn't find any global unlocks. Then again, I did my research in 2.0.3, so unlock paths may have changed.

@AmazonQueen I had settlements without sawmills, got tool & dies, got level 4 agriculture.

My apologies to anyone I misled then. Probably won't teach me not to believe everything I read since at my age I should know that already :blush

Apparently you don't need a lumber mill. I was wrong about that.
But when you do need an advanced industrial building any of the later levels of the same building will do just as well.

As someone else mentioned indirectly, the missing requirement for the filtration plant is a coal pit.

I'm also pretty sure the aluminum requirement for the crusher is wrong. I filled mine up with plastic, steel, and ceramic, and it upgraded just fine. I think it had like ten aluminum, last time I checked before it popped.

May I also say, the remelting facility is fantastic. Not only is it incredibly useful, but it rewards you for finding and buying junk over shipments, even in the late game, which I really like. I mean, yeah, Rylee straight out owns me now, but it was worth it, right?

That reminds me, there's something I'm supposed to read.

'This post brought to you by Rylee's Trading Emporium, for all your junk needs! We have everything, and if we don't have it, we'll get it. Professional scavs are standing by right now, waiting to fulfill your exotic junk needs!'

Wait, when did Rylee get a sc.... oh. Oooooohhhh........ Maybe I shouldn't have just skimmed that contract. She had so many biometric scanners, though....

This mod has brought fallout back to life for me. It really is amazing. I’ve been creeping on these forums for a while so I figured I would make an account. Does anyone know (and I apologize if it’s been mentioned previously) if I can delete a required plot once I get the desired upgrade? I don’t see a reason to keep hazmat processing if I already have the nuclear arms factory. I’m going to rewatch the YouTube video in the mean time to try and find an answer. Thanks gents

I've had the magazine building going for IG weeks now and I've only ever seen "Gun Show Issue #1", do I need to do something to produce other magazines?

Flare factory really do anything? I see basic flares in the workbench, but IIRC they always spawn in the workbench over time anyways? What about emergency or artillery flares?

@Berzuli The Magazine Press will print a different magazine every couple weeks in game. If you aren't seeing a new magazine, make sure the plot has enough power, an employee, and that the settlement needs are met - then try refreshing the plot.

Per the Flare Factory - it produces all sorts of flares once you unlock them in your play-through. Though if your settlement needs aren't met, the plot can shut down production.

How can I cheat to get a Brewery? I've built a Community Well which turned into a Pumping Station. I picked up the plot while building and placed it again and it has since not updated at all. I thought I read somewhere that adding more resources (like 500 purified water) would speed up the upgrade. Is there anything else I can do? Also, am I supposed to be removing the dirty water that is produced in stockpile? I've been in the habit of checking the workshop inventory and removing dirty water and was doing the same for the well. Do I need to leave it there?

I'm a little sad to say that I'm already level 114 and just finished the main story line. I haven't finished Nuka World and/or Vault Tech DLC's so there's still gameplay left (not to mention other mod quests like Tales of the Commonwealth). I'm getting the feeling that starting Sim Settlements on my save game (level 40-ish) is MAYBE causing problems...?

The buildings also have a minimum number of in-game days before they will upgrade, so it is input resources AND minimum time met before it will attempt an upgrade.

Hey All.

I finally got the Medical Plastics Adv. Industrial Building. Very cool. However, when I go inside, the 2nd floor conveyors in clean room are not producing anything. So I checked its inventory/stockpile and its empty. Does the plot produce its own stockpile then eventually, 'production' on the conveyors will start showing up?

I have also read that some of these buildings and/or residential plots get side quests for needs/requirements. Do these pop up in your pip boy automatically or is there a place in the plot that pops up asking for your help. :giver:
