Hotfix 2.0.0m - Death to the Long Save!

So the magic letter was "M" then ! =D
Such a great patch/fix. We thank everybody who are involved...

I'm finally considering giving chapter 2 a go.... Still haven't tried it since it's release and was in pain due to that.
I believe I still do have a fair amount of research to do though, before I jump in.
I’d say give it a shot now that the couple major bugs have been squashed. The quest and stuff have been pretty solid and the repopulate system works fine for me. This is probably the most stable release so far as far as background stuff goes.

I'm using MO2. Once you choose Delete that mod and its whole subfolder vanish completely into the Trash Bin. Delete is the only way I manage new mod versions unless it's a small 'hotfix' patch that contains only a few files. My F4SE and all plugins, Buffout, etc are in the main game folders of course (never have MO2 manage them). Currently only using SS2 for its building assets, haven't even placed down the first plot from Jake. The long saves are intermittent, not every time, sometimes I get a quick save, other times sometimes so long I have to force quit. That's what happened after the new version - one quick normal save, walked out of the settlement, long save time till I force quit after 5 minutes.
In addition to the long saves continuing post fix, I also have long fast travel loading now too. So long I have to force quit and just forget the whole thing.
 
Thank you to everybody that contributed to fixing the long save issue, for some it was an annoyance, for other it was game breaking. Whatever y'all did also improved performance quite a bit at least for me.
Yes indeed, performance had a great impact on my part too, beside LS issue i was having a very hard time with plots not upgrading or not advancing construction, settlers would take several in-game days to even move to settlements when commanded to, assigning them to plots was almost impossible and took me various trys for changes to actually happen, everything was slow and tedious!
Now it's not like that anymore, it's faster than ever before , things happen almost immediately.

Can you post your load order please? Also, you mentioned f4se plugins. Are you using Nukem's plugin?

If you could, set Nukem's plugin to log GC and turn papyrus logging also and post both of them. You shouldn't be getting long saves, especially on a new game. I'm curious to see what's happening behind the scenes.

Awesome job folks!! Played for several hours with only a couple glitches 1 long transition from outside of Walden's pond to basement which did NOT duplicate, and a CTD which for me is normal during a long play session.. The only note worthy thing was coming back into the game after the CTD I noticed large settlement growth..
But again awesome job!
 
The GC plugin comes with logging disabled or enabled? I'm not a super-tech so the logs wouldn't do much for me, but I want to use the fix without doing unnecessary writes on my SSD. It it does minimal logging then it's no issue.

Default is fix on logging off, what you want.
 
I have Lupe assigned as Department Head of Logistics and several supply lines setup, but the Logistics meter is seemingly stuck on Red. Any fix ? I tried dismissing her and reassigning her and it did not help at all. I can't do any cleanup or contruction anywhere unless this is fixed it seems.

My logistics energy is at 0 and won't increase at all no matter what I try. It's effectively broken my game progression.

Did you try running the hq fix from the holotape. There a setting under advanced then tools says hq fix or something like that.

I checked the Holotape but didn't see anything like that. I'll have to take another look.

Hmm it’s supposed to be in there it’s for fixing the hq when people are missing and stuff. I know a couple videos ago kinggath showed it on video. Maybe it’s under quest fixes ? Unless it was removed in the recent patches idk any more then that.

Unfortunately the only HQ thing that I'm seeing is that Quest Fixes. It says...Chapter 2 HQ Reset Issue, but that also says "If you are returned to HQ in the main quest and found items previously built in the entryway are suddenly gone use this fix."

So that's not a fix for the zero energy bug.

Tried using Everything under tools/advanced and it's still zero energy.

Each contract set up takes 5 logistics energy and Lupe offers 10. For early HQ you’ll have to keep it to two contracts until you can transfer more workers into the logistics department.

In the HQ workshop menu you’ll have to go to admin and sever some of those supply lines for now.

I'm not In early HQ. I can assign 14 workers to logistics. Energy remains at 0 so I can't assign any further supply lines. Hence my issue.

Lupe is bugged the hell out.. she unassigns from her job or it doesn't recognize her as being there. I've been through this multiple times already. After her initially being assigned, no matter how many people with how much endurance they have, I end up with zero logistics energy (XBox)
Rarely, I can unassign and reassign my max and wait or sleep for 12 or 24 hours and get enough to create a supply agreement. It has taken real world hours to get that to work for me. A lot of us are having issues with Lupe in different platforms. Was hoping that she would be fixed in the recent patches, but, for me at least, she's possibly worse than she was before.

Kinggath said he would start doing some fixes on this stuff now that the long save and hq reset stuff have been solved. I’d guess patches will be less frequent now that they are both fixed so It could be a week or so till the regular cycle gets back on track.
