Hotfix 1.0.0f of Sim Settlements 2

Based on other xbox comments, I've only upgraded Workshop Framework (to version 49) this. morning and now I can save games again without a crash.
Did you not updated ss2? Because its when I updated the ss2 mod is when I had a problem
 
Well, I start again with a save outside 111 vault -previously updated the Workshop Framework- et voilá! The stranger coming, give me the mission, residential plot show in the menu!

Yeah workshop framework works for me too, thats not the issue, its the new ss2 update, have you not updated the ss2 mod?
 
starting magazine doesn't seem to give the components anymore.... for that reason Even cheating components in and building the generator/beacon the stranger doesn't appear... but normal settlers do....
 
Has anyone had the same problem on xbox as me, updated and now can not download ss2 just says the operation error but other mods download fine still.
Well, weird on xbox. It was showing version 7 and not working on dowload. Now, it is version 8 and doenloads.
 
Yes it looks like they have pushed another update out for us, because it has now downloaded for me aswell, the version is now 8 and a different size.
Can confirm version 8 seems to have fixed the download issue. I'll report back if I find any other issues on Xbox one X.

Yes, I updated it to the "f" version (PC), and no, I not said FW was the bad guy, only mention it just in case mean something to the team.

Might have to clear your reserved space and start over which should be fairly easy considering half the space is ss2 alone.
 
I have just started a new play through now I can download ss2 again, I picked the magazine off the workbench and put a beacon up, but I dont get jake anymore and I dont have the ss2 in my build menu either, I just get random settlers turn up.
I have done the usual, turn off, close game fully, etc but still the same issue

so I just installed workshop framework 2.0.5 and ss2 1.0.0f. Now the stranger seems to show up every time I build a beacon, before the update he only showed up like 10% of the time and I had to reload an older save and try again. But I still can't build any plots, they just don't show up in the ss2-workshopmenu. I tried the consolecommand "sqv ss2_mqmaster" Kinggath suggests in his latest post here, that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Any ideas? (I know, I'm like the 2734th person to ask...).
On the safe I keep reloading I just picked up the magazine and went to concord to meet the minutemen, then went back to sanctuary. Up until there everything seemed to work fine, I could open the MCM and ss2 showed up normally (I didn't change any settings).
You recon starting a new game might help? Also are there any known issues with certain other mods?
 
Ah sorry Xbox players, I had the version number wrong. Until the version updates on the description screen on your Xbox - you will get that download failed error. I've reported it to Bethesda many times to no avail.

Thats cool, I have downloaded it now, but now jake doesn't come and I dont have any ss2 in my build menu,

I successfully downloaded version 8 (Xbox) and it's working. Again, thank you. I'm super grateful
 
Lucas - if the SS2 build menu isn't showing up the mod probably isn't enabled. Check in the Mods > Load Order screen to make sure it has a check mark next to SS2.esm.

Yeah the mod is all loaded up, I also get the magazine on the workbench but when I build a beacon I dont get jake just normal random settlers, also nothing shows in the build menu, I do have other mods downloaded but they worked with the ss2 versions before these ones. I'm on xbox so I dont know if its doing something strange. I am on a brand new game so its not a save game issue.
 
If Jake doesn't show up - it means the quests didn't start. I'd recommend starting a new game with SS2 disabled. Then once you get out of the cryo chamber, save your game, and try activating SS2.

That should take care of it! The nice thing is if it doesn't you'll have a clean save right after the opening sequence in case we need to resolve some mod conflict or something with another patch.

Here's hoping Bethesda allows console commands on console in their next gen games....

I will give that a go, and yeah I hope they do too, or I may just go to the dark side and save for a pc lol.
I will however be keeping an eye out hoping you and your team bring your own game out ( hint, hint) lol
