Can anyone put a link up to the SS2 DLC Settler patch for me I've been looking in nexus for it without any luck. Thanks

Wonderful! I have decided that on my next playthrough to use only a few city plans. I do like the "Castle Restoration Project by Veelynnlove. Nice and clean, uncluttered. I have been attempting more builds on my own and am getting a little better at it.
Using place everywhere really helps, however my keyboard doesn't have a number pad and I haven't been able to find a work around for that. I know there used to be a way to turn some of your keys into a number pad, but no luck so far on that.
Enjoy playing, hope it goes well.
I have finished installing my mod just got Buffout 4 and FO4 Edit to do, when I have done that I will post my mod list for you to look at and make any suggestions to make it better or if you see a mod that may cause a problem let me know. Thanks

Here are the links for the bots. If you scroll down on the description page on any of these, you will see several more bots you can add and some companions.

The others on the list are more like patches, I think, they repair some stuff that the mods may have broken.
If you are using the mod "Nuka World Plus" then you would want the first one.
The others are for SS2 and I don't think it hurts to have them.
This first one has 3 of them. Go to the files and Branch 69 1, Branch 69 2 and Nuka World Plus are all one this one page.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46403
This one has the other 3 for SS2

Hope that helps. :smile

Click on the tab that says files and you will see several options to download. You need the first 2, any of the others depends on what mods you have.Screenshot 2023-07-14 082956.png

I launch through Vortex.
I always do, but its running in a small square screen, and I cannot find a fix to get it to open in full screen if you know of one please let me know I don't fancy having to uninstall everything and starting again.
I opened a new thread called "Game Not Displaying Properly" and put a screen shot of it, take a look.

So, after successfully launching through Steam, you went back to Vortex and it's still the small screen?
Let me see if I can find anything.
Try this: Just substitute Fallout for Sykrim.
Go to Steam and launch your Skyrim. You can't run it from there - no SKSE - but it gives you a chance to set options.

Click Options and set your display size. And maybe full screen windowed too.

Close and exit. Then launch your regular way.

Sorry I don't have Skyrim never played it.
Yesterday I ran FO4 from Steam and it was in full screen, After reading this post and answering it, I thought I would tri launching it from Vortex again and it ran in full screen yippee, so now all I have to do is get the tild key to work. This has certainly been a learning experience for you and me, even at my age 64yrs old I am still learning new stuff. Thanks

The instructions above work for Skyrim and Fallout 4. :smile
You don't by any chance have your settings in game set to survival?

No just normal settings, I have been playing it from Vortex and its in full screen now.
Do you remember writing "
Ok, I just learned something new.
On Vortex it uses a program called Loot to sort your mods. Loot can also tell you if you have additional issues.
On Vortex go to the plugin screen, on the line where it has status, name etc. go all the way to the right and there is a gear, click and enable "Loot Messages"
Then under the heading flags, click on the drop down menu. If you select "dirty" if will list all files that need to be cleaned." Here is a screen shot of what mine looks like this,
Screenshot (8).png I don't see a list of any kind what have I done wrong? I just tried something I clicked on Clear all Filters and now it looks like this Screenshot (9).png If you look under Dependencies there are 5 highlighted in orange if I hover my curser over one it says" Drag to another plugin to set user list rule" I don't understand they are all DLC's.

This is Perfect. It is showing you the "Dirty" files. However, you do not want to clean any of the official DLC's. The one mod, Vault-Tec Workshop Overhaul is showing as dirty. I don't remember if you can clean them on Vortex, I used F4edit to clean mine. I'll see what I can find out.

Ok Thanks, I have started a run through I am at the very beginning so I haven't Tried the Tild key yet.

Awesome. You could always try it to see if it works. Is your keyboard set as American?
No Its set to UK, And guess what? That Audio to Video problem is back where they say there lines and they over lap and not synced to mouth movements also when walking he is speeded up to double speed I would not like to try him running he might disappear, at the moment he is superman.

Ok only 2 things I can think of, and one would be to check your GPU driver to make sure it is current.
Then I would go to steam, Library, Right click on Fallout 4> Properties>Installed Files>verify integrity of game files.
See if that helps.
Something else you may want to check is your FPS. My understanding is that Fallout is sort of limited to 60 FPS, you may want to cap your FPS at 60.

How do I check GPU never done that before and also how do I check my FPS?
I just ran the verify integrity file and it confirms all files installed.
But I was thinking about how its running, it seems to be running faster than it should like if you play a video on a faster speed than it was recorded at, so I decided to disable Workshop plus as that speeds you up in build mode I was thinking that may be the cause, but when I ran the game with it disabled it he walked at normal speed instead of a greyhound chasing a rabbit but when I speak to a NPC the audio still came out faster than there mouths could move, so I am now stumped on what else it could be that is causing this. I am going to launch the game from steam to see if it runs at the same speed as it is from Vortex, just ran game from steam and he walks normal speed but the dialog audio when speaking still overlaps the line and isn't in sink with the mouth movements.

It's different depending on your GPU, can you tell me what Graphics card you have, and I will see what I can find.
To find out your FPS, go into Steam, on the top left click on steam, go down and click on settings. Next click on in game. You'll see in-game FPS counter. Set that to the location you want, then when you start your game, you will be able to see your FPS. Monitor that for a bit. If over 60 then that could be the issue and we can investigate how to cap yours.
