Can anyone put a link up to the SS2 DLC Settler patch for me I've been looking in nexus for it without any luck. Thanks

The "Unofficial FO4 Patch" is a separate thing and was always optional. I haven't had it installed myself since before Chapter 2 came out, and haven't had any problems.
It's listed on the "load order" page on the wiki because if you DO have it, it has to be in that place in the order.

Ok, I just learned something new.
On Vortex it uses a program called Loot to sort your mods. Loot can also tell you if you have additional issues.
On Vortex go to the plugin screen, on the line where it has status, name etc. go all the way to the right and there is a gear, click and enable "Loot Messages"
Then under the heading flags, click on the drop down menu. If you select "dirty" if will list all files that need to be cleaned.
I have read that you shouldn't clean the Official DLC files so just ignore those.
I then made a list of the others that needed cleaning, closed Vortex and went back to FO4edit.
You should have a second file in the folder where you downloaded edit that says quick clean. Open this, select one of your dirty files and then OK.
The file will then be cleaned and you can select the next file. You can only clean one at a time. And I noticed that when I selected my file, some of the masters were automatically selected so don't worry about that.
Hope this makes sense. :grin I would do screen prints but am having issues with that ri
How you getting on with cleaning the files?

With the FO4edit, there is also a Quick clean and I used that and now loot doesn't list any.
It has seemed to help.

Sorry for the delay, are you still using Vortex?
Also, it may not be an issue with the game itself, it may be a setting in windows.
Which version do you use?
I may be able to do some research.

Windows 11 Version 22H2 it was downloaded automatically in the setup stage, but this time I managed to reformat all drives.
I am now in the process of installing all the mods I use to Vortex before I test it again, if you could do me a Favour and post a copy of your mod list or a mod list that works so I can copy it maybe I will get through the HQ as I have never been able to complete it with the mods I use I am still trying to find which ones are causing the problems with the HQ setup. Thanks

OK, so here is my load order. Some of them are hard to figure out so let me know if you have any questions.
You might want to stay away from Outcasts and Remnants and Valkyrie. They sort of change the ending of the game.
Also, you might not want to use them all, I have a few "Cheats" in there. :grin

Thanks I will compare your list to mine, Have you completed Chapter 2? If yours works then I will use most if that's ok, At the moment I have only installed SS2 And Chapter2 and all the workshop framework mods, I intend to start modding today, I have also found a video on how to fix the Tild key on YouTube the guy speaks English but when he shows how his computer is in German but he explains very well, so if my Tild still doesn't work I will try to follow his directions hopefully it will sort it out.

Yes, I have completed chapter 2, there are still some side quests I am working on, managed to get through Voice of the Commonwealth part 2 yesterday.
I found that by not building up the slog and going there first worked. If you're not sure what that means, when you get the quest you have two locations to go to, go to the Slog first.
You are more than welcome to use the entire list. If you need the actual names of some let me know.

Yes please as I don't know most of them in your list, also how did you get a copy of your mod list? I have no idea how to do it, once I know how and have completed loading in the mods I use I could post my list for you to look at and perhaps let me know if anything is needed or missing to get through Chapter2. Thanks

Vortex saves a copy to your files. I just did a search for loadorder on my pc.

I would suggest looking at the descriptions on the mods as there may be some you don't want, and it shouldn't hurt to leave some off.
I will attach a file later with the screen prints from Vortex so you can see the names. You may want to avoid Everyone's Best Friend, there are a lot of missing items in that mod according to F4edit. Also Armor &Weapons Keywords, that was added for a mod I don't use anymore and I misses disabling it.
Creative Clutter is not on Nexus but is a Bethesda Mod.
There are 3 that are from the creation club, they are Armor Paint Hot Pink, Weapon Hot Pink and Vault suit customization.
These were free on Creation Club so I got them, but you don't need them, I don't really either.

See if you can open this.
Also, some shared advice from someone much wiser than myself. Start the game with the mods you absolutely need to start with. Or any that say to only add them to a new game. Once you get a little way into playing add a few of your mods. Make sure to save before you add them. Play for a bit and try to see if you have any issues. Then add a few more. This way if you do have any issues, you can back track to the last time you added mods.

That is great I can read them all Thanks, I don't use many City plans I have found that they have bugs that cause builds on top of each other or to many doors on 1 building, I tend to build my own and place a plot inside, but there is 1 City Plan I love and use Sunshine Tidings Medical Center I send Stoge and his Friends there.
No I don't know how to delete posts either.

Wonderful! I have decided that on my next playthrough to use only a few city plans. I do like the "Castle Restoration Project by Veelynnlove. Nice and clean, uncluttered. I have been attempting more builds on my own and am getting a little better at it.
Using place everywhere really helps, however my keyboard doesn't have a number pad and I haven't been able to find a work around for that. I know there used to be a way to turn some of your keys into a number pad, but no luck so far on that.
Enjoy playing, hope it goes well.
