At a war board, after I select which territory to capture, just before I confirm the soldiers, the game freezes then crashes. It was working perfectly (albeit slow) before the update, now this.

It happens every time, every war desk, as soon as you exit out of the selection boxes no matter if it's before or after you select a territory/outpost.

Is it always the same territory? While this is very not normal, I would suggest to try going there with flare gun instead. Just make sure you have a save before updating, if you have to roll back.

Yea it was every war planners desk. I could execute a mission from HQ though no problem. However, I turned my xbox on an hour ago and went to load up last night's game, and as soon as the main menu came on, a loud buzz came, and it immediately crashed to my homescreen, and now I can't do anything. Can't access any options on the menu like load, mods, settings etc. Doesn't make sense.

I even downloaded it on my Xbox One and the same thing happens. Only on that profile though. If I switch to another, it doesn't happen and I can load a game.

I'm almost sure there was a way to get rid of just several saves (did that with FO3 on xbox but can't remember how anymore..) But this may help - https://stealthoptional.com/how-to/...-s-how-to-delete-cloud-saves-and-local-saves/

You can delete ALL local saves, or all local and cloud saves. You can't delete individual session saves or just cloud saves.
