Question FO4 VR crashing on load up.

Hello, everyone, I wanted to restart FO4 VR because hanging out in a radioactive wasteland sounds better than going outside right now. I have played sim settlers a bit but never really got into it. I went off some youtube video and found here, so I went off of this post by Lystraeus https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/ss-starters-guide.9373/
I added a few mods that I like faster screen and easy lock pic, also some to clean up playing in VR but when I start the game it crashes right away.
I have tried uninstalling all the mods and reinstalling them. I have disabled some to see if there is a conflict, verified the game files on steam. I can't figure this out and was hoping someone could help me.

I am on windows 10, Intel I7-7700, 16 gb ram, Geforce GTX 1070 and about 515 gb free hd space. I have played FO4 VR on this computer before heavily modded. My video driver is up to date also.

Any help would be amazing. Thanks

your issue is any mod made with the new CK will not be compatible with older versions of the game.

You maybe can edit headers with fo4edit and get things to run or use older versions of the mod. maybe?"

Sorry. We know Beth really left the VR users out in the cold on this.

The only answer I think anyone will be able to give here given the issue is to disable mods until it does start then, slowly add them back in until you find what is holding it.

It can be a long time-consuming drill.

Same as disabling "everything" then start activating them a few at a time. Each time restarting the game.

FYI - I had a post called "Cannot get City Manager 2078 Holotape" where I made a comment indicating that RayBo helped me figure out that older versions of Sim Settlements work in FO4VR, it's just after some point in time it stopped working. Version 4.1.3 works, and more recent versions might work as well, but I still need to check and see what the most recent version is that works with FO4VR. Note: There's no message or indication that the mod doesn't work. You just can't ever find the holotape no matter the approach because the mod isn't successfully loaded.
It would be extremely helpful if Kinggath would do a version check and notify the player that his mod isn't supporting FO4VR, or....better yet, make a copy of the .esm available that does support it.

There are back level versions of the code available on Nexusmods.
The incompatibility is all on Bethesda, who stopped updating the VR version some time ago.

FYI - Running the current Fallout4VR version 1.2.72.0 / F4SEVR_Loader version 0.0.6.20, these versions of Sim Settlements did NOT work (holotape unavailable and mod did not load): 4.2.5, 4.2.4, 4.2.3, 4.2.2a, 4.2.2.
These versions DID work: 4.2.0, 4.1.7, 4.1.6, 4.1.5, 4.1.4, 4.1.3 (not sure before that).
So the most recent version of Sim Settlements that WILL work with the current version of FO4VR/F4SE is version 4.2.0.
