Exterior plots with wireless power/no pole

So, I'd like to make exterior plots without the pole and either provide a power connector on the built plot or rely on wireless power or power connectors manually placed on the built object.

Is there a flag for whether or not exterior plots have a power pole? If not that'd be my suggestion; if there's no power pole then use detect power using the same method as internal plots.

I basically want to make "oversized" plots which use up the entire 2x2 with walls lined up along the edges, and external entrances or internal hallways. So, for example, a martial plot entrance possibly with stairs, middle plots with no stairs but a half width hallway and internal door to the remaining 1.5x2 of space with a residence on each floor, and corner plots with the stairs, 1.5x1.5 plots, a vendor stall, etc. and a central courtyard piece with a recreation or vendor plot. With 2 middle pieces you get a larger square with a 4 plot interior, etc. Kind of like circling the wagons but with walls. :)

My other option is to make the building "foundations" and to put regular internal plots snap inside them. That's kind of what I'm working on now occasionally as I feel like adding pieces for a whole furnished farmhouse, L-shaped building, townhouse, etc. that I'm currently messing with. This is why I have never completed the game's plot. I can post wip pictures once the "clipboard" mod updates since that's how I'm exporting single buildings at the moment.

I think Kinggath is actually planning something like that. I think I remember him mentioning it, when he disabled the plots with the integrated foundation. Something like, simplifying the plots could pave the way for such a feature.

That'd be cool. Sometimes the poles get in the way of a particular location too; i.e. an underpass.
