Hey everyone. Ive been doing the commonwealth rising quest & Im at the part where Im supposed to go to my settlements, build a powert transfer plot and an advanced or hi tec power plant so that the surplus power can be transmitted to hq...
Ive done it all in 4 settlements by the book, watched videos on YouTube asked people whove done it successfully and it seems my quest is just bugged as the 0 figure wont every progress towards 1000
Ive done the following:
Gone to a settlement, built a power transfer plot, built and advanced power plant, built vault tec generators, connected them all via a municipal power pylon , went back to hq and set up a supply agreement...
My quest just wont progress, pls HELP

I’m not trying to speak badly about anyone, just that incompatibilities are notoriously difficult to completely iron out when dealing with large load orders. The bigger it is, the more likely there’s an incompatibility somewhere in there, and even if something SHOULD work fine, something as simple as a mod being higher or lower priority in a load order can make a big difference.
fair enough, all Im saying is its possible but Id be surprised...HQ is sooooooo Buggy....I have rooms with 2 doors...As in in 1 doorway there are two doors...theresa'a improved quarters cannot be built because "theres no room for this project" lol...
when you inspect her quarters there's clearly left over debris from a different room project that wont go away even after refreshing the room through the room control panel or even after changing the room's purpose...there's other rooms on the office level that WILL not build out at all, theyre just empty....
ss2 is amazing apart from 2 things...the crazy amount of crashes the ludicrous amount of script running cause but you get used to that and HQ...HQ is a very badly realised feature in its current state...it goes against the very principal of ease and automation that I think/thought SS2 stands for....It tedious, un-fun, long in the neck and tooth and ahhhghgggggg soooo Buggy....Im soo annoyed by this power tranfer idiocy ..this is the very last quest of ss2 and I cannot finish it even though I did everything right its stuck...
sorry ,rant over

oh for sure, HQ still has lots of bugginess that should be getting fixed next patch. Just trying to see if there are other solutions/avenues to explore other than twiddle our thumbs and wait. :grin

Let me know what you find. I have the distinct impression someone did not ensure compatibility in that collection.
From a bit of a look, it does include The Thuggyverse (Depravity etc) which is... dubiously "compatible" with SS2, but shouldn't outright break this kind of thing. Other than that I can't say for sure without checking it myself, and there's stuff on this list that I will never install myself, so that ain't happening.

I'm going to have to assume that this is a "wait till HQ2.0 is a full release instead of a public beta" type issue at this point, sadly.

I thought that might be the case....thanks for trying anyway.....

Try this: Go back to a settlement that is set up for it - has a Caravan and a Power Transfer plot, and and active Supply Agreement - and go into build mode and just plop down another one of those tiny generators, and hook that to the power grid. Then wait a moment and see if that does it.

How long am I supposed to wait?
Brw I didnt even know a caravan plot was needed/if there is ine already at egret..Im using the basic ss2 city plan everywhere ..anyhoo I built one, and a small generator, connected them both to the municipal pylon/grid..look at the pics...the number is still stuck at 0

** Above mate

So the screenshot you provided is showing a Municipal Power Grid pylon. You can scrap that, since you already have one of those in your settlement.
Go to the Caravan Services plot and put down a generator there and connect/wire it to the Caravan Services plot's power pylon.
@yaugie is trying to ensure that your caravan services plot is powered up.

If you could please make a save file, zip it up and provide that zip file somewhere for others to access it.
Provide a link to it in this thread.
I can ask that it be looked at for you to see what's going on. Nothing more I can think of to try to help resolve this for you.
I'm running through the Commonwealth Rising quest currently in my game, so I will see if I have the same issue.

Other helpful information you can provide is doing a console command: sqs SS2C2_Sirick_MQ27 and report to us what quest stages report out as being done or not set, and also console command: getstage SS2C2_Sirick_MQ27 - report which stage you are on.

Once we have a link to the save file, and the information, it will likely take some time before there is an answer, but hopefully the issue will be found.
