Hi everyone ! : D

So as the title says , i already got the 3-1 dowloanded trough Nexus , but since i signed in on this page , i found so many mods you guys made as add - ons that i might download 10-15 :p

Wanted to know if there is a way to make a pack (all in one ) of the mods i would want to download and/or if there is a risk of causing problems to the game or to Sim Settlements it self if i download too many add ons .

Sorry if there are grammatical mystakes (not my first language ) And sorry if this question has already been asked :D

Last question , i don't want to become a Patreon ( yet ) but i wanted to make a donation , how can i proceed trough the site ?

Thank you in advance for all help you can provide , and thank you again for all these mods :D

:bye
All the add-ons are done by different authors and many of the add-ons are still being frequently updated so an AIO for the current add-ons isn't practical.
Specifically, "current add-on's on the nexus".

All the rest he consolidates, as you suggested.

Kinggath does create an "AIO annually" for the add-ons that are complete / longer updated by the original authors. :declare
Below are the links and they are an excellent cross-section of different themes.

:kinggath: Kinggath does not keep donations. He uses them for overhead like the upkeep of this site and assets for new/continuing content. :giver: We love new content here and he gives us lots.

We all think that it is "down-right cool of him to do that." :aye:

Hello again :D

Thank you for the quick reply , really appreciate it . Will have a close look at thoose two Mega Packs . So for all other mods ( add -ons ) should i check how far updated they are for each before i put them into my nmm family ? The last thing i want is to destroy my saves , spent so much time building villages :p

Sorry to bother again , but i am a bit confused on how to follow up with all news , i watched ALL videos on you tube , is that the best way to keep myself "updated " on everything ?

Thank you again for your patience and informations ! :D

In my opinion, the Sim Settlement add-ons are the safest mods you can download for F04. I have nearly all of them installed in my game. They are historically extremely safe. Any of them are fine.

These forums are probably the best source for Sim Settlement news.
The Mod gets an update every other Friday and all the notes get published here.

I would also subscribe to his YouTube channel.

Add-on for some settlements specifically come in many different types. Most common is a plot pack, a bunch of new buildings for Sim Settlements and where you’ll want the most variety.

Then there are city plans, which removes you from the city building progress and does it for you. If you prefer to place plots yourself you won’t use these.

Faction packs are used in conqueror. I’m gonna be honest I barely tried the system and I’m not sure what would be the best way to use these. I’m trying right now with half a dozen of them, split in half between conquerors and liberators. No idea how sweet of a clusterfuck to expect.

There are a few other types: leader packs, foundation packs and probably a few others I’m forgetting but these are a bit more rare. Conqueror has just released their version of leaders traits so I would expect to see updates on leaders packs soon-ish. Also keep in mind some add-ons combine things (faction pack with some plots, plot add-on with leaders etc) and some include other cool things like flags or city planner desk designs.

So my overall advice is to get as mss as my plot add-ons pack as you can, city plans and faction pack depending on your gameplay preferences, maybe one or two leader packs as you see fit if you don’t have enough included from the other add-on packs. VFX foundation pack will cover more needs than you should ever have.

Hope this helps

"Hope this helps"

This Helps a lot indeed , thank you for the information .
At the moment i have been using only the 3-1 sim Settlements that i downloaded from Nexus , but with my 4 different saves , i realised that 90% of the time i build the settlements my self , and even with my "Raider " save , i don't use conqueror , so the add on plots will be a real bonus for diversifing even more my settlements . What i sometimes do is that i let a Leader build his city , and if i see a free space , i just buid a small cosy house for me to craft and stor gear , so i can individually equip each settlers :p .

The only thing in settlements that makes me sometimes a bit " wat iz dis " is that the settlers gather mostly around the "Central Park " entretainement or the gym furnitures , but most of the time they just sit and stay like ( we are here , need something ? ) .

But i don't know if this is a issue from sim sett or from the game itself , nevertheless it's not traumatic O_o .

Thank you for your time explaining me all this !

Settlers will gather around recreational areas, especially after work. That’s something to keep in mind when building. That also means you can control where people gather.

oh yes , i know that , :p in some big settlements i made a big commercial area and left a single recreational in the middle , surrounded by 6 commercials and filled 2 empty pspots with a jukebox , some ...gym stuff and they all gather there , mostly the annoying , but useful visitors :p . Thing is that i made a gigantic Slocum Joe's ( from creation club ) area , with at the end 2 indoors recreational areas , and the settlers ...lmao stay outside the building next to the external wall , like they were kicked out by a discotek bouncer and were waiting to get in -_-

Hello Everyone :D
New week and ...new questions !
So i got the 2 big packs full of new building plots on thursday ( was off Thrusday -Monday ) and spent ... well 10-12hours each day on fallout tbh . I got a couple of questions about the buildings :p
I know that you can withdraw plot schematics from your desk , so the "buildings " you dont see fit aren't randomly created . But is there a way to PREVIEW the building itself before you select it ? i tried it normal way but no image O_o . And got another question , but i don't think it's much Sim settlement related ; is there a way to ... make the settlers a bit more ...like normal ? example - made a maxi building ( 7 floors atm ) filled with 40+ plots ( residential , comercial industry entertainement and fooood ) . Settlers do their job , thei take the plot they need (housing+work ) and they work on it . But they rarely sleep in their own beds ( or any bed ) and they love to gather in the weirdest places and just stare at me (need something ? i hope you are not one of DEM synths here to spy one me ) .

Oh and last bonus question :p
Do you install Conqueror when you install the 3-1 too ? i don't think i have done it , or activate it ? I am in a mood to start one , but i got a Raider save already and i am taking already half of the commonwealth , is it similar . I admit Conqueror vids where the only ones i didn't watched from King's UUUU tube channel .

Sorry for the big post , have been compiling all questions during the week end :p

1- You mean a way for Sim Settlement to show you the building that the plan says? Not from basic game, I think someone made a mod on PC that tried that but I’m not even sure.

Honestly I don’t think there’s any way other than trying and when you see buildings you don’t like you remove them and make a mental note. Give it a bit of time and you’ll recognize add-on packs styles and you’ll be able to understand with the name if it’s something you want.

Also when you select a building plan manually you normally get a short description which is sometimes helpful... some times...

If you only use randomly placed stuff you can miss out on many of the best plans. Things that are oversized (like a mall with interior space) are often locked out of randomly appearing to avoid weird scenarios so if anything, I’d recommend spending some time every once in a while looking at the plot names for things you haven’t seen, especially if it sounds big. There might be stuff you like that you would otherwise never see.

Also 40 plots? Pretty sure my Xbox would burst into flames if I tried that.

2- Pretty sure my settlers mostly sleep where they should. Mostly... Every once in a while I find Marcy sleeping in my bed and (I reload a save to before I murdered her) but it’s rare. Then again I don’t have cities as big as what you try so it might make matters worse. I’m not sure.

Bonus: it’s not a good idea to add mods in the middle of a playthrough. And is it similar? If you mean Conqueror being similar to Nuka World... kind of. It uses some of the same features and game mechanics as Nuka world but uses them differently with a brand new storyline where you can start the game and get to raider gameplay right away.

Was saying sorry for my big post , but do i LO_Ove your big reply :D So , if i can't preview the building , i suppose , like you said , that i will stick with checking wich ones i don't like ( or that don't suit the current save playstyle ) and take them off with the building plan . BUT , atm i am doing that in each settlement -_- ( will have to write down a list so i don't need to test all around ) is there a way to apply building plan "ban " for All settlements ? That would be .... convenient O_O .

I don't only use random stuff , i also checked individually each building and also the descriptions , soo many options , it's really nice ffs :D but it happens also that i use random plots , well in fact , mostly for Housing i do so , and after they are built lvl 1 i check if it suits me or not . For the rest i check the asam sensor after and decide myself wich one .

He.... 40 plots in Tenpines and i am only talking about housing , add the rest and ...uuuuuuu . But pc is strong and honestly since i started Fallout i got like 3 or 4 freezes and no crash at all . Well each time i change stuff , Loot tells me if there is a conflice or not . And since Skyrim , i learnd to instantly save the game as soon i load it , and then refresh the save , it avoids crashes ( at least for me ) .

But i will not go up 50 settlers , even if in Starlight i did some weird gigantic building who looked like a Stacraft Battlecruiser O_o ... i am having soo much fun building lol got a whole gallery of pics !

Well it's just a bit unnimersing ( is this english ? ) But it's really nice to see them all sleep in their beds at 4 am and not 40 people standing awkwardly at 4 am ( neeed something ? ) -_-

Thanks again for fuelling my blabla and answering to my questions : )
