3 in 1 asam and assignments stop working after completing cc quest

Come back to my settlement (sanctuary) on survival mode only to find I can no longer access the asam sensor menus and settlers will no longer respond to assignments. At first I noticed mama Murphy was no longer assigned to her farming plot, however trying to reassign her breaks everything else. Upon further investigation I've found that trying to reassign any other settlers also breaks the asam sensors and no one will accept reassignment.
The quest is the "tunnel snakes rule" cc quest. Which I fortunately had a save available before doing this quest to check if the ss mod is broken before it's completion.
I've exhausted anything else as a cause (ie. Mama Murphy quest glitch, reloading and trying alternative building methods, rebuilding settlement, reassigning in different orders etc.) and I can only come to the conclusion there is some kind of script that causes ss to become unresponsive after the quest is complete.
*Ps* apologies if this is in the wrong thread

Well Tunnel Snakes is know to be buggy. (forget exactly what it was atm) But then most of the CC stuff has bugs. I really don't think they run the mods trough the beta testers.

Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of complaints about the cc quests being extremely buggy. Wanted to know if anyone had a fix or had encountered this

I am also having this issue, but with oberland station. I reloded a save before I completed the quest Tunnel Snakes Rule and it works fine, but when I go to my recent saves, after finishing it, the interior plot options boxes and the asam sensors in oberland station become un-responsive. And if I try and then go back to another settlement the sensors in those settlements become un-responsive as well.
Using the 3-in-1 version, most recent update.
