Make sure you are installing this version -I just installed Raise of the Commonwealth but I got an error message saying I am missing (Sim Settlements esm) I have both SS2 and SS2 Chapter 2 installed so where do I get the Sim Settlements esm it asks for? Any one help Thanks.

Yes I use Mod history to find all the mods I use but there are Mods from Sim Settlements In there too.I did the same thing and still every once in a while try to add ss1 stuff.
No I don't have that where do I get that from? And how is it installed.Do you have FO4edit?
Try running that if you have it, I just recently did and it fixed several issues I didn't know I had.
It found duplicate files and other stuff. Now I haven't had a CTD in quite a while.
Here it is on Nexus:No I don't have that where do I get that from? And how is it installed.
Thanks I will try it FO4 game folder is that the one with data at the top, so I just paste it below the data folder, is that right? Here it is on Nexus:
and here are the instructions I followed.FO4Edit
FO4Edit is the Fallout 4 version of xEdit. xEdit is an advanced graphical module viewer/editor and conflict detector.www.nexusmods.com
Installation
Nothing needs to be "installed" for Xedit (the generic term for the editor) to function correctly. Simply download the archive manually, not through your manager, and extract the archive to a folder using your preferred compression software. (WinZip, .7z, or WinRAR are all fine)
Typically you would right click on the archive and select "Extract to FO4Edit 3.2-2737-3-2/"
Then simply copy the folder, and paste it into your FO4 game folder (not the data folder) open the folder, right click on FO4Edit.exe, and select Send To, and desktop. You're installed.
Typically the game folder is located at X:/Steam/SteamApps/common/Fallout 4, where X: is your game drive.
Yes, just don't put it in the data folder. Thanks I will try it FO4 game folder is that the one with data at the top, so I just paste it below the data folder, is that right?
Yes I use Steam I just looked and I don't see X: in there, I see Data/ src/ Then lots of files underneath no X. Sorry to be a pain in the neck.Yes, just don't put it in the data folder.
This should be the path if you use steam.
Typically the game folder is located at X:/Steam/SteamApps/common/Fallout 4, where X: is your game drive.
X is just a place holder, for you it would be whatever drive your games are saved in. If you only have one drive than it would be C.Yes I use Steam I just looked and I don't see X: in there, I see Data/ src/ Then lots of files underneath no X. Sorry to be a pain in the neck.
I just Validated it and all is OK. and I will do it again once I have installed FO4 Edit. ThanksX is just a place holder, for you it would be whatever drive your games are saved in. If you only have one drive than it would be C.
Also if you have steam you can try opening Steam, go to library, Right click on Fallout, Click Properties on the drop down menu. Then click installed files, then the last item on the right side says "Verify integrity of game files. Click this and wait a few minutes. It should tell you if something is wrong with the game it's self. If there is then you may need to reinstall the game.
I just hope it helps at all. I am definitely not an expert and I just play around with things and sometimes they work. I haven't seen anyone else coming up with any ideas, which is kind of surprising.I just Validated it and all is OK. and I will do it again once I have installed FO4 Edit. Thanks
Just click the one you have highlighted and wait; the main screen will open then a second window will open that lists all of your mods. It should open with all of them selected, hit OK and then edit will run. I always get another pop up for UFO4P where it askes if I want all of them, I answer yes. Depending on your mods you may get more pop ups.I have installed FO4 Edit But which is the FO4 Edit exe View attachment 21321 is it the one I have highlighted in blue? if not could you mark the right one and then all I have to do is copy and paste it to desktop thanks.
That looks perfect.I followed the instructions you gave I applied filter and a big window opened and in the bottom right corner a button saying filter so I clicked that and this I what came up next View attachment 21323 I hope I did this right, I see the red highlights Thanks I hope you do find a fix for those, what are all the ones highlighted in yellow?
and I agree with what you said "I haven't seen anyone else coming up with any ideas, which is kind of surprising." I appreciate you taking time and patience with me Many Thanks.
I haven't tried it yet as I was very tired yesterday old age catching up, I will try it to day and let you know the results, I have a question do we still need to use this patch or was included in one of the updates for SS2 https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/thumbnails/4598-0-1456989707.pngOk, I just learned something new.
On Vortex it uses a program called Loot to sort your mods. Loot can also tell you if you have additional issues.
On Vortex go to the plugin screen, on the line where it has status, name etc. go all the way to the right and there is a gear, click and enable "Loot Messages"
Then under the heading flags, click on the drop down menu. If you select "dirty" if will list all files that need to be cleaned.
I have read that you shouldn't clean the Official DLC files so just ignore those.
I then made a list of the others that needed cleaning, closed Vortex and went back to FO4edit.
You should have a second file in the folder where you downloaded edit that says quick clean. Open this, select one of your dirty files and then OK.
The file will then be cleaned and you can select the next file. You can only clean one at a time. And I noticed that when I selected my file, some of the masters were automatically selected so don't worry about that.
Hope this makes sense. I would do screen prints but am having issues with that right now.
