1st off loving these mods, finally gives me a reason to NOT just ignore the settlements.

Anyways the problem im having is that usually after i start upgrading plots and really having a good tine in the tech tree my adv plots all stop poducing across all of my settlements and even turning the stockpile system off does nothing to alleviate the problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I already hit them all with the IBB and refreshed them all. Tore down and rebuilt all the lvl 1's that are busted, double (and triple) checked all of the wires and made sure they were all powered. Happiness in 90%+ in both cities, and i even did the "refresh all plots" option in the holotape.

Have you perhaps turned off Dynamic Needs? I believe Dynamic Needs is still a requirement for certain plots to produce items.

My settlement in question (after the dynamic needs penalties) has a large surplus of food, water, and power. I did however find a workaround that made that allowed me to upgrade my buildings.

1. Make sure stockpile is on and the required materials for upgrade are in the stockpile
2. Go into LO and disable all SS mods
3. Reboot xbox
4. Re-enable SS mods
5. Turn stockpile off
6. Sleep/wait/fast travel

I have no idea what is causing the problem but this will atleast let me upgrade most of my plots. Though it doesnt help with mines, oil refineries, coal mines and any other plot that uses non-standard materials. (ore, processed fuel, coal)

If you turn off stockpile, the requirement for those resources is removed so the ones that create specialty resources shouldn't be a problem any more.

Usually if you can access the stockpile container, but materials aren't being generated, it means your defense meter isn't full. After you fill the defense meter, the next time you leave your settlement, any industrial plot that had stopped producing will start again.

If you're not using HUDFramework, you can calculate it yourself or go into the holotape then Tools, and look at the Citizen Needs report. It will show what percent your defense is at. Sim Settlements uses the formula: Food + 1/2Water to determine defense needs.

Thanks for telling me that bwcause i definitely need to cut back on my water then. I usually keep my water in the 200 range lol.

Hey, me too [about the water]. I usally put loads of water in early, and keep it up high. I was under the belief that plenty of resources helped attrack new settlers.

See i kept my water that high to finance my concrete addiction. I make my 40-50 plot cities almost entirely out of concrete.

@NikVilKok FYI: The only thing that positively affects the chance for a new settler is the happiness score. Extra resources do encourage more raids though! :)

Not entirely true, technically low population also increases your odds of a new settler until you have 5 settlers. :P
