Xbox game crashed, now this!?!

I’m so, so far into the mod and have my HQ nearly built up.
I turned on my Xbox today, went to sanctuary, and my game crashed. A hard crash. I’m playing on a brand new Xbox series X.
After reload, I went into Mods and saw there is a new update for SS2, so I downloaded it.
SS2 completely crashed after download. Now I’m getting an error message saying the mod is missing files and cannot load.
I deleted all the mods and tried to download them again and it isn’t possible. I’m getting the error message that the download isn’t possible. UnO F4 downloaded. Workshop downloaded and Hud downloaded.
Did I lose all my progress!?!

WSFW didn’t show an update needed.
Before I was able to update SS2 Cp2, the mod crash happened and I couldn’t update SS2 which meant I couldn’t update Chp 2 because of corrupt files. ???
I’ve never seen this before in any mod.
thoughts?
 
Same is happening to me. Xbox series X. Had an update for SS2. Completed it but getting the operation could not be completed message and now cannot reinstall SS2.

Also had an update for WSFW and SS2 chapter 2 - completed both of them ok but will not let me reinstall SS2 v47.

I’m uninstalling the game and reinstalling hoping that works. If you figure out a workaround please post. I’ll let you know if a full uninstall of the game works.
 
So I reinstalled my game (and all DLCs), and now I’m getting a prompt to log back into Bethesda. I’m wondering if Bethesda servers went down and is causing all this?
 
Uninstalled the game (+ all DLCs)
Reinstalled the game (+ all DLCs)
Logged back into Bethesda (new password)
Downloaded WSFW
Downloaded HUDF
SS2 still does not download (see below)

I've had the same thing happen to me tonight on PC. Logged into Mods, through the in-game menu, to see that there were 3 updates available, WSFW, SS2 and SS2 CH2. I updated WSFW successfully first then started downloading the update to SS2 only for it to reach 100% and then pop up the "The operation could not be completed" message. I get the same message for SS2 CH2 as well.
 
I have successfully downloaded and installed the latest versions of WSFW, SS2 and SS2 chapter 2 on pc using Vortex. Had to disable/uninstall SS2 Extended as it is now included in SS2 2.0.2a. I can't help with xbox, sorry

Bethesda.ney is pretty slow. It can take up to a day from the time a file is uploaded until it is actually available to download. It is a Bethesda issue any the only cure is time. There are a lot of posts just like these every update and the answer is still the same. ;)

IIRC, that plugin allows the HUD to display number > 999
 
After 15 hours of thinking my game history was gone forever, I was able to download SS2 and SS2 Ch2 and get back into the mod / game. It’s still crashing every time I fast travel to sanctuary, but at least I’m back in!

I have Vortex installed for Skyrim Mods. Do you know if it would break my save if I uninstalled SS2, and add-ons, from Bethesda.net and installed them via Vortex instead?
 
They should be the same files, so your save will be fine. Just make sure your load order doesn't change.

I have installed on XBOX S/X without any issue. Maybe you can delete the reserved 2GB MOD Space, not with ingame service but with XBOX tooling. and reinstall all your mods again with the ingame tool. And BTW after installing any update, I reboot the XBOX, maybe, this clears the memory before starting the updated game.

Yep, that's what I dis; has the same issue yesterday. I needed to clear off other mods anyway and just use a few like Everyone's Friend Dogmeat.

Before my reinstall of the mod, I think the build limit remover mod was causing some of my issues with ss2.
