Workshop Menu Crashes

Hi there,

I've found it difficult to find recent descriptions for possible causes of crashes when accessing certain Workshop Menus. I've read in the past that this can be caused by bad Form IDs or Models, but I don't know how to find the culprits.

My game crashes, without fail, when I go past the 3rd option in my Furniture menu, or past the 1st option in my Decorations > Wall Decorations menu.

This first happened after Vortex had a crazy fit and suddenly started complaining about load issues and I had to re-specify (for almost every mod) which ones should load before/after others. Seemed to refer to a FOMOD info.xml file being the issue.

I have done the following steps already:
> Removed all mods which add workshop menus
> Used SMM to try and fix missing menus

Does anyone know another way to debug what is happening here? It's acting like it has to render a small model for another Workshop Menu as I scroll over but instantly crashes before I can even try and work out which one it is.

Thanks

Well... we need a bit more info. What platform are you running the game on? Do you use LOOT for sorting your load order?

I suggest installing LOOT then. What it does is sorts your load order. It's not foolproof, but it's a good start. Once you get that done, try it again. If that fails, your save might be corrupted. At that point I would just start a new game.
