I will attempt to lure you back ;)

Tonight I’ll start the four exports in prep for testing as a city plan. Depending how it goes and how long it takes, may even start testing with an old save-game.

It is surprisingly awesome the first time that you see your own plan assemble itself. Even if it is only a real basic test-plan, and not a real leveled City Plan as yet.

    Time to test Old Guns.

Old Guns worked. I had to shift a wall, which won't actually be there when this is a real L0 city plan.

At this point with 9 basic settlers, things are not badly in arrears caps-wise. The full L3 city with all plots fully-built should be VERY firmly in the positive caps range - as well as having plenty of defense.

    Two small problems:
1/ I have no idea where that 9 food is coming from, there should be no agricultural plots in the setup.
2/ I'm going to have to adjust the beds, I wasn't expecting 26 settlers as a maximum - only planned for 22 or so.

    Exporting an L3 city plan.

I must have f'd something up big-time with this.

    * The medic-station was gone on starting the city.
    * I had to pick up and put down a shower that I put in there, before I could use it.
    * The water-purifier would not power up until I connected a source of power to it.
    * Once I did the above, it cut off the Minutemen radio - I had to connect power to it.
    * The radio beacon will not run, period:
** In Workshop mode it says that it has power.
** When I try to flip the switch, it says that it won't work without power.
** When I wire it up with a generator, in Workshop mode it says that it has no power.

An update, I’ve gotten this much of the way there. It needs a rethink for layout and commercial plots, blinging out, then re-export.

Currently KG and co are digging in to a couple of issues that are affecting several players with new city plans. So, I’m going back to shooting everything in sight/playing the game for a while. ;)
