Why are you so worried about defense anyway? You only need to have the minimum. The concern over attacked settlements is overblown and if you're that concerned, find a leader with "One Man Army" (like Mama Murphy somehow has under one of the leaders packs) so that any attack on a settlement will fail 100% of the time.

Looks like it was a bug that it persisted past stage zero anyway? Had some weird numbers for a while, 15 food but none in the zone, etc.
Got it sorted out.
The concern with attacks is mostly around travel time and survival. Pain in the ass to miss an attack when you're already juggling happiness and getting hit by Rust Raiders and Super Mutants (should i really have installed that harder super mutant mod tho?). Fun but i could use a Jeff Goldblum there to remind me that it's in my nature to, uh, *licks lips* find a way.

Getting a CtD when trying to get near, or quick traveling to, Tenpines. This started when my city upgraded to level 2.
I used console commands to move my city manager to Sanctuary and reinstate myself as the manager, but I'm still getting CtD. I'm attaching the script log.

Tenpines (L1. original city plan) is showing 10/10 people and 80% with jobs. But when I switch on "find unemployed" I can't find anyone. There are two areas that look like they should be plots, one inside the broken building at the north end (barrel with a table and crates around it) and what looks like it could be a bar or restaurant on the east side. I had the same issue at L0 and I thought it would maybe fix itself at L1 but no such luck. Any ideals?
