SS2 deletes cell data from a variety of cells including concordespeakeasy, usafsatellite01, medtecresearch01, dmndsciencecentre01, institutetunnel01, institueoldrobotics01, dmndcitysurplus01new, goodneighbourthememoryden, wattz01, dmndpublick01, Instituteconcourse, goodneighbourhotelrexford, charlestowndrugden and railroadhq01. There ar aa few others in several worldspaces and interiors as well. I'm just making my load order- is this deliberate? I don't wanna make a bug report for something I don't know about

I just noticed that, too, though I often have other mods that put some of the contents back again (no wonder my SS2 is so broken).
Did anyone answer you @Domenicus? Did you file a bug report?

Oh! I missed the flag <14> indicating that it's a partial form. Not sure what that means when there appear to be no changes at all, even partials, but I'll learn about that at some stage, I'm sure.

Unknown flag 14 is the Partial form flag that xEdit does not recognize. The purpose is to allow adding objects to a cell without modifying the existing cell data. In simpler terms, it means there are less conflicts with other mods.

Every time someone runs an error check on SS2.esm this gets reported. Its not a bug. Its xEdit thinking its an error...

Those aren't deletions - they're additions. Same way some of the DLCs add things.

Edit. I have been ninjaed by msalaba

I though this same thing back when first looking through ss2 and it’s inner workings not many people know what partial forms do so it always ends up bringing up questions and people thinking it’s breaking precombines or erasing data. I wish xedit would update their info to include this so it doesn’t show up as incompatibilities with every mod ever.

In my case, I didn't see an error from xEdit, just a basically blank column that, in any other circumstance I've come across, would mean deletions. Sure, it didn't help that the <14> was cropped out, but that's the limit of xEdit's culpability here :)
Though I didn't see any additions to the record, either, so even knowing about partial forms, I have no idea what that particular edit is intended to do. "Adding objects to a cell," gives me a clue so I'll look further. Thanks, @msalaba

If you start at CELL and work your way down the tree, eventually you find Persistent and Temporary references. These are the added objects.

A mod that adds some scrap in the middle of the road in Sanctuary is "Adding objects to a CELL." The make over the Concord hardware store received in SS2 is also "Adding objects to a CELL."

OK, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. On following the CELL tree I found the change to be an added "persistent" flag to the record header. The xEdit UI doesn't show those Persistent and Temporary branches when looking at the form level header (in my case, the big RED header record) and I didn't think to look at the pretty green Persistent Placed Objects (because they were green, so no errors there, no sir!) and so I missed the actual change.
