Settlement HUD on Xbox Series X not working

So I just downloaded the mod and started it on a new save and tried it on an existing save. I have waited for 10 minutes before placing down my recruitment beacon and the workshop HUD is refusing to pop up. I have workshop and HUD framework installed in the correct order but no matter what I do this damn thing wont pop up! Does anyone have a fix? I am extremely excited to finally play this mod but this is the one thing that is preventing me from playing. Someone help!

The first question is - do you have HUD Framework installed and enabled? If yes, the second question is - do you have crosshairs turned on?
