Place Everywhere does not disable pre-combines.Does Place Everywhere maintain precombines when extra stuff is scrapped?

Raze My Settlement scraps too much stuff, like chain link fences for example.Place anywhere is so much more then a placement mod it has taken me a long time to realize this. Scrap dead stuff yep scrap skeletons yep scrap a bunch of random objects which the extra selection on yep. It really is an all in one settlement tool and when you use whispers raze my settlement and his mod that removes bramble you have a powerful set of settlement mods that will clean a settlements in mins.
I would really like to see place anywhere included in wsfw as a base mod that’s part of wsfw without place anywhere I couldn’t build a shack bridge between sanctuary on the path to Abernathy that so many npc like to use. Watching them poor npc wade that river is depressing they need that bridge.
I have only found Place Everywhere on Bethesda.net. the other 2 are not there or won't load into my library.Immersive Cleaning = Trash and clutter
Clean my Settlement = Leaves and bushes
Place Everywhere = what's left
No precombines broken, no fps loss, but clean Settlements. Very important for Bunker hill or the Triangle-of-Death (Sanctuary-Red Rocket-Abanathy Farm)
u can find both on NexusI have only found Place Everywhere on Bethesda.net. the other 2 are not there or won't load into my library.
I don't know for sure, but if you make sure your ini had preculled objects enabled you should be fine. You also might be able to make the ini read only, so no mods can change it, though that's just a guess. Then the worst that will happen is Scrap Dead Things won't actually allow you Scrap Dead Things that are part of a precombine. Might make that mod pointless, but at least you won't mess up your game.Reading this I’m planning on taking out scrap my settlements and make do with immersive cleaning and place anywhere. Does scrap dead things break precombines or not? Or will I not need it with the other two mods?
put Immersive Cleaning at the end of your Load order !Wow does anyone else have an issue with Immersive Clean? It caused random parts of sanctuary to disappear and reappear.
This! I had this exact problem. I made sure my ini was in order, and moved it to almost the bottom (Vortex still wanted to put two things lower, but still very low), and Ala-Peanutbutter-Sandwhiches all the flickering parts were gone. Easy peasy.put Immersive Cleaning at the end of your Load order !
Tried that, no joy. I’ll try playing around to find the conflict on an old save and report back. I don’t have a huge number of unconventional mods especially ones that affect building so it should be doable. Unless it’s a clothing mod or something!put Immersive Cleaning at the end of your Load order !
As I understand it RMS simply does automagically what can already be done by hand, and without giving the player the scrap in the workshop inventory. So if RMS can scrap a house then the player should also be able to do that in the vanilla game? Of course in Sanctuary not all of the houses can be scrapped, perhaps breaking pre-combines allows the scrapping of those too?raze my settlement
Exactly I used Scrap everything to get rid of all the houses and build vault architecture on almost all existing house bases. If i'm going to ditch scrap everything i'll need a way to get rid of those houses. As I understand it RMS simply does automagically what can already be done by hand, and without giving the player the scrap in the workshop inventory. I am a big fan of Place Everywhere. It allows you highlight and scrap non-precombine objects by pressing INS. I also like it many other features like surface snap toggle, object snap toggle and 3 dimensional rotation.I'm no expert. I only know what I have read in the wiki and on mod pages. That said, I think SE is great and I have used it through hundreds of hours of gameplay along with SS1. It was on my list of essential mods up until I found these others. For me, the problem with SE is that it breaks precombines. Not a problem at the start but once I have gone through most of the settlements scrapping all the things I want to (which is pretty much every bush, hedge, vine, vehicle, and ruined building) my game starts to lag. I still have it for those objects that I just have to remove, but with my current mod setup, I am only breaking a few precombines and not hundreds. YMMV
DOH! I didn't read far enough down and repeated another poster's info. DOH!I am a big fan of Place Everywhere. It allows you highlight and scrap non-precombine objects by pressing INS. I also like it many other features like surface snap toggle, object snap toggle and 3 dimensional rotation.
If you use Place Everywhere and press F5 while in build mode, it will turn of the auto timeout for leaving the build area. This allows you to build something inside the green border and drag it out of the green border and place it where ever you want.Place anywhere is so much more then a placement mod it has taken me a long time to realize this.
