I don't have a question, just a statement.

I'm trying out the new Rise of the Commonwealth builds in different settlements.

So far, I vote for Graygarden as my favorite plan. I love how the space is utilized with what apartment-style housing units. But best of all is the construction upwards to incorporate the overpass. I had no idea the build area reached that high! I'm excited to see how that settlement evolves, as well as the builds for the settlements I haven't hit yet, including:
TenPines Bluff, Finch Farm, Jamaica Plain, Egret Tours, The Slog, and Country Crossing.

Thanks for all the creativity and ingenuity!

Yeah, Grey Garden was one of the ones where their map and mine match incredibly closely, and it's a sight. I'm waiting for Sanctuary and Abernathy farms to build up at the moment, and built up Starlight and Sunshine manually, but looking forward to Greygarden.

Although I gotta make those stairs OSHA compliant.

I can confirm that as soon as Level 1, OSHA compliance begins to kick in and stairways have railings. LOL!

Outpost Zimonja is by far my favorite so far, its insane really seems like a city and with such little space to. My least favorite has to be the Castle, it seems like it has so much more to offer compared to what is given. Just have to wait for some add-on packs!

Outpost Zimonja dropped the ball by not making use of the little shack under the overpass. I was hoping for a Super Mutant trader or maybe a ghoul chems dealer. LOL
All of the settlements, but one, are bloody Amazing! The creativity of the designers is just incredible, my hats off to (almost) all of them!
As for actual "functioning" settlements, I have to say tankthing did about the best at designing around the shitty AI. Although County Crossing smokes em all! LOL

The thing I notice most as the settlements level up, is some of the designers lack of experience actually "playing" F04. It's that lack of knowledge that causes most of a settlement to come to a screeching halt. But, that can also be the fun part! Getting rid of as many navblocks and "no you didn't" goofs and making the settlement actually work, is a fun challenge.

who says that's not due for a future expansion? :P

In all seriousness, we were entirely focused on getting the darned things to function to put in something that far outside the boundaries..

oooh but you can go waay outside the bounds & build a kool boat dock! I see how ya are! LOL!!
btw... that boat dock is why I was expecting something niffy. Call me spoiled!

We could have placed a marker there but nobody would use it because the settler sandboxing ai treats the settlement boundary as a wall and won't go past it. The settlers will walk from sanc to red rocket to go to a store but they won't go work in a store outside the sandbox area.
