Public Beta 1.0.0j

Some good fellow can tell me if someone got problems with the ASAMs in the W. Everett's basement? I can't take those bastards sensors from the table. Dunno if this is a bug or need to take from other place. The marker dissapear in the map, but the mission is still active in the list.

In Sanctuary (after 3 starts, 3 different versions of SS2), I still got no statistics panels. Any help be welcome
Dont kill the brothers, as they give you the A sams.
The sensors on the table is just display.
How that helps

Done that, doing chalk runs since then, but the quest is still active.

I know I am not the OP, but it sounds they have the same problem. That despite sucessfully finding Nail and getting Hammer killed :grin (whose Doppelganger unfortunatly is still arround), the misc Quest entry "to look for ASAMs in the West Everett Estate" stays in the journal.

Any chance any of these patches will make it to Xbox or are you waiting until you have a more stable build?

Ahhh, you say not fight with the Supermutants! I've razed the place, shoot on sight...what an easy trigger I'm done, fuck... maybe that's the reason I can't take the sensors after the carnage...think this need an adjust, like other missions I mean, no matter if you negotiate or kill for obtain the resoursce, you got it anyway. Thanks @Robfosty !

It stays active because you can continually return with chalk for more asams so it’s a continuous quest with no end.

Ahh ok, thank you for that information, I was worried I might have messed up a script with not being able to finish

On the 1.0.0j note, I played the main questline, from "Casting the Line" till the End of chapter 1 on the current Version and encountered only 2 problems. In "Memory Lane" Jacks start video aalways got interrupted and didn't trigger the quest (here I reversed the SimSettlement version back to 1.0.0.g and it ran smoothly) and in "Who can? ASAM!" I get all the quest tags and are able to finish the quest, but it doesn't seem to build anything.
I sort of ignored them and kept questing :sorry.
Needless to say the mod is fantastic and beside some minor issues runs very smoothly. I will probably try to start fresh with only 1.0.0j to see if that makes a difference regarding my two trouble spots. Thank you again for the wonderful work!

I've noticed an oddity since applying the Public Beta J this morning. In the Sim Settlements workshop menu section, under power, the Municipal Power Pylon & Municipal Power Switch are no longer showing up. I took the same save, reverted back to Public Beta I, and they're right where they would typically be. Change back to J and they're gone (though the light poles do still show up up, just the municipal power options are gone). I've linked a 7z containing the two back-to-back saves with screenshots showing the different menu ribbons which I'll also include here. I'm able to flip back to I without any problem so losing them from the ribbon isn't a one-way problem.

Apropos of an earlier request, I am one of those whose ribbon also still does not show any of the four plot types from New Plots On The Block even though I got the popup showing they were unlocked, so if you want to research that from these saves; bonus.

Ive got a few issues. I cant find the Batter Up Buttercup, its not there where the marker is or anywhere in the area. After clearing the farm for Odette nothing happens. Also I cant find Aiden or the shack and the radio signal has gone silent. I may have missed a cue or something as it seems like the pop ups happen frequently right as I open my pip boy. I also am not sure if its normal or not but my settlements are not recruiting or at least painfully slowly. Its one of the reasons I keep trying to find the Buttercup and help Odette as I feel like maybe Im supposed to help all these named settlers rather then normal recruitment. I have a modest mod list but been reading and I am running both AE and Scrap Everything. Most of the quests for this were great with only a few hiccups I fixed mostly by loading previous saves and hitting the marks in the right order.

new playthrough at the end of "where theres smoke" both the npc's did not move close enough to the marker and I had to use "moveto player" on both to trigger the end dialog. Also sometimes hard to find all the gunners to kill

I understand. So, in this case should be a "mission failed" message if a fool (like me, i.e.) decide to kill first ask later...

There is something you need to interact with after blasting the mutants to continue this quest. There are 2 mutants closer to the water. Sometimes they don't aggro until you find them. (vanilla issue)

It seems that if the location was cleared prior it is currently not possible to continue the quest until the cell resets.

As mentioned in my 1.0.0i post, until I return from some travel, the builds are going to be much more incremental and only available in public beta form.

This build changes the way the demonstration scenes are coded in Plotting the Future and New Plots on the Block to reduce the delay between when Jake finishes his construction scene and when the ASAM Sensor speech begins. For those of you having trouble with New Plots on the Block, I cannot replicate this, so will need to see some save files.

There are several folks on the forums: @WetRats, @RayBo, @snarkywriter, @VersusXV, @Tarkkh, @Blackbelt, @1ae0bfb8, and @HyperLordBender who are actively compiling bug reports and sample save files for me to work from - so if you see any of them engaging in your posts - please give them whatever info they need! (Thanks guys!)

msalaba I had previously killed the mutants there for a minuteman radiant. I had suspected that could be it. Thanks for confirming.

Any idea where the buttercup is? Is all recruitment coming through the named settler radiants and that why recruitment has been nearly zero.

You should get regular settlement recruitment as well as random named ones showing up. One thing I noticed was if you build city plans from the desk the recruitment beacon often doesn't get powered, maybe check for power on them?

yes I'm guessing they never expected people to do this although i kill on sight bos cause i find it fun to war with them. I'm guessing they are working on this though as several people are having this same issue.
