That is a lot. I have used a few of these but not many. I did find I really like "Zeltans - Alien Invaders In the Commonwealth".

Now here is my inexperience showing, what do you mean by a "my settings for the mods"?

I like Zetans but I wish they were far less common. Id rather have a big important group to fight than a bunch of annoying encounters. On the other hand they gave me tons of unupgradable alien disruptors that I equipped Sanctuay entirely with them.

Many Mods give you a holotape so you can set things to taste. Like in SS2. Do you want to have diseases? No. Im good without them.

Depending on the mod there might be a bunch to try. Like I didnt think how two mods would interact. So when I saw a large mod made mob of ghouls I headed to them only to see them fade out and a much bugger group to phase in. I ended up winning (Thank goodness for melee cone) but it was a near thing. I usually up their damage, speed, and hp.

Oh before I forget Mod Configuration Menu or MCM. It likes you adjust settings via a menu that you can bring up under the escape key. You can get another mod that will save your settings personally just in case :)

I do have MCM, I had to add that to control the number of patrols for You and what army. Also how far they cross the map. It's why I ended up with over 200 MM at Red Rocket, which sort of broke my game. (I had also just updated the mod, and it had a slight issue.) I wish I had thought to take a screen shot as there was a sea of MM as far as you could see. And you should see them when attacked by a Rad Rabbit. I was literally :lol, I even had tears running down my face.

No ordinary bunny.jpg
Death awaits them with big nasty pointy teeth.

I wish M's abominations wasn't broken, that mod is fire. But mutant menagerie is great too, with the bonus (I guess) of being more world-friendly. Nothing like getting Aiden's and Jake's first stareoff interrupted by a bunch of turkeys or racoons or whatever.
Also Feral Ghoul Expansion Pack!

Having to wait for those two to finish off the critters can take some time. But it seems to usually be turkeys and raccoons.
I added the Horrors of the deep Fog recently and saw my first Giant Crawdad. Those things give me the shivers irl, they're just scorpions that swim.

I had my ghoul mods running and it despawned the neutral wildlife and spawned in a bunch of ghouls after the cutscene started. They ended up killing me long before Jake and Co could end them. I had to deactivate the mods - just too insanely disruptive :P

I like Mutant Menagerie but I created a small plugin that just sets the faction for Rabbits and Chickens to neutral for the player. This actually makes a ton of the ambient creatures non-hostile because those creatures are set to those factions in Mutant Menagerie. Most everything else is hostile but all the water fowl and small critters, including the raccoons, mostly just ignore you. I did it that way because that's how a lot of the opossums and other things in Fallout 76 behave unless you start shooting them or attacking them and I liked that feel.

Yeah those ambient critters like the turkeys 'breaking' cutscenes like that is my only issue with Mutant Menagerie. Well, that and some of the creatures could really do with custom animations but I understand how much of a pain in the third quarter doing that is in this game.

Ooh care to share? I like traveling through the woods without my companions starting a Link inspired chicken hunt.

With the Arachnophobia mod mod its close to perfect. I really feel animations missing in Far Harbor with the Kracken.

I don't usually bother shooting the chickens, owls and ducks. The radhorner is just such a pathetic creature I don't have the heart to blast his/her head off, and the hellcat is so cute I just want to take him home as a pet.

Yeah, those Krakens were what I was thinking of too with regards to low-tier animations. I mean they still work, it just looks a bit clunk. Some of the insect-types glitch out a little too, but that's less common.
I've no issue with Giant Spiders though, I'm carrying a Winchester 1887 and about 50 lbs worth of Dragonsbreaths, I'm good.

I hope by giant spiders you mean the ones that look like black widows and not some that are bigger? Those are bad enough.

If you haven't been to the Glowing Sea or to Far Harbor yet with the full Mutant Menagerie set installed... you're gonna have a bad time.

Im an Arachnophobe in real life. I kind of embody the "Lost a spider in the room? Nothing to do but burn the house down." Strangely scorpions dont trigger it. But then I never met a scorpion that wasnt tame.

I have been to the glowing sea and ran into a couple of really fun creatures. I thought they were part of the Lima Detachment Mod, as the first time I came across them was at one of their facilities. But since I saw them this playthrough and Lima isn't currently active, I realized they must be part of Menagerie.
