Oberland Station Bugs for RotC

Noticed a couple small things today:

On initial construction, not all of the tato plants were removed. A city refresh did remove them, however.

At level 1, the settlement is producing 284 water. I have literally no idea where that is coming from - I see a handful of pumps around the settlement, but nothing else.

I'm getting a weird glitch with Oberland. Stuff I donate completely disappears even if I confirm that it doesn't say Vault 88. I can only seem to donate caps to it. I haven't taken over Vault 88 yet so either the stuff went their or it went into the ether. Also, when I first click to donate it says Vault 88, then if I get out and go back in it says Oberland Station. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

The first image shows my location. The second image shows what first appears. The third image shows what appears after I cancel and try again. I'll see if I can donate with a salvage beacon to Oberland.

Edit: So I installed the new patch and it did successfully upgrade. I thought Oberland Station was fixed, from the patch notes, but also because I clicked into the desk multiple times and it stayed on Oberland Station. However, I started trying to donate again through the desk and items still disappear. There is no mention from the settlement that they ever got the junk. Also the junk % never advances, nor does the % to next level, not that the last part has much to do with the junk requirements. Then the weirdest thing started happening. Vault 88 started showing up again when clicking on the desk to donate and check on caps requirements. It showed up very consistently and then went away and came back again. Granted i spammed the desk to see if it would go away with each success click. I still need to try sending some junk their way with a salvage beacon. I suppose I could also just try blowing the settlement up and trying again.

Edit: Ok so the salvage beacon donation works and I can check it after spamming to not get vault 88. However, turns out if I just refresh Oberland Station the Vault 88 issue goes away with the new patch. Also, directly donating works now too.

So the attached file (sorry, this is a haphazard way of doing it) is my character in workshop mode at Oberland station. You will note:

Workshop mode says there are 11 people.
The ROTC HUD seems to say there are 25/20 people.
it also says L -11 10%
There also seems to be some kind of weird doubling in the numbers in the HUD, as if there are two HUDs laid on top of each other, each reporting something different.

This happened almost immediately after I upgraded the city from L1 to L2...

118 water and no water pumps in sight. is this calculated from something else? Just started this build.

water weirdness. There's a hose reel in there somewhere giving you 100 water, guessing near the workbench?

Find it, scrap it, set up a temp water to get you past level 0.

It'll get fixed in one of the next patches.

i discovered that 2 agri plots produced 8 water, so that covers the 16, I'll look for the hose reel.

found it in the base of the tower, though, if someone doesn't know enough to TCL in console may never find it.

There's no scrap option available on the hose in build mode for me, either. Is it safe to remove via console and what is the best way to do so? Also from the footprint it looks like this city build will be pretty dense, any suggestions on a safe area to throw down an early logistics station or is it safer to replace an existing plot?

yup, you can also use insert to turn on extra object selection in place everywhere and get it that way if that's more your cup of tea.

I had 2 doors and 2 beds in one of the homes, but used the refresh instructions, thank you, and it's normal now. Now to find the hose.

Well that rules out scrapping it on Xbox or PS4.

As for the no recruitment beacon, I just used scav dispatch from industrial city add-on

Not sure what this bug is.
I have just updated to the latest version of the base game today, and now Oberland station thinks its Finch Farm. At Oberland, it now thinks its Finch Farm. tried reloading the city plan for Oberland from the desk at Oberland. This loads, but then a check of city details reverts back to Finch Farm.
I've done some searches of this forum but have not been able to find a reference to it. If someone knows of one and a fix, please point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Do you mean the train destruction is gone? Or is it the city plan information you access from the desk that shows Finch? I'll check mine when I start playing.

The actual city plan at Overland shows Oberland..
The show city details shows Finch Farm.
as way of an update;
Also changing the mayor at Oberland changes the mayor at Finch and vice versa.
Following advice fed through the steam boards I started deleting everything at both settlements.
At Oberland the the sim settlements destroy everything worked. At Finch it did not. When I started scrapping manually I notice a lot of the builds duplicated, walls floors furniture, decorations etc.

I haven't had any problems with Oberland, I do have some problems with Abernathy. Hopefully the extra information will help someone give you some suggestions.

Hi guys, I have respect size limit off.Every time I go to any settlement I get a prompt to refresh city that states respect size limit is on.

I can confirm that even with 3.2.1 that Oberland lvl 0 still doesn't have a beacon.

I been having issues with the cinematic camera after assigning a leader to the settlement during the level 0 build phase. The game CTDs right before the game give me back control of the character after watching the foundation being built. Also I don't know if this is script lag or something else I had to rebuild local data twice before the leaders added by mods shows up. If I don't only Preston and Codsworth shows up as assignable leaders. But at other settlements modded leaders show up on the list the first time the option is selected. Fixed the camera problem had to set controls to manual and look at the sky until the build phase was complete.
still haven't figure what is the cause the for leader bug though.

Yea, noticed that yesterday when I wondered why it still only had 2 residents after an in-game week, and came here to find it's a long-standing issue.

Still no beacon .... I suppose I can just build my own for level 0 and see what happens for level 1.
