Hi, guys. Thanks, first, to king and all the other people who is behind this great mod, including the awesome community you have gathered.
Well, I'm playing again (I reached level 30 the first time) just for solving some issues with my previous journey and this time I want to maximize my experience with SS.
But, after seeing many videos, there are still some things I don't understand completely, maybe because I don't speak english natively.
So here are some of the questions I have. Thanks in advance for your answers.

1°. In my last journey, I had some city plans running but some of my settlements didn't have beds... and all of them had less beds than people. Is that normal? That improves in the next levels?

2°. Is there a limit of settlers I can have on a settlement? And if the answer is no... do the city plans adjust to that number in terms of beds needed or should I build the remaining beds, for example?

3°. I finally understand that mega packs ARE NOT city plans, just building plans. I haven't installed them yet, but... do they add new types of plots or the changes are just cosmeticals? I mean, the "main mod" has only six kinds of comercial plots... do the packs add more of them or any other class?

4°. I saw the video about industrial plots. My question: how many tipes of this can you have? I plan to gain access (again) to Spectacle Island and have there a industrial section with every kind of plot you can have, considering leaving some of them only on level 1 or 2.

5°. Can you have the "auto upgrade" ON for every settlement except for one or is just a main option for all the game?

6°. Is there a way of managing and tracking every settlement from the pip boy or a main desktop or you must go to each settlement individually for doing it?

Well, that's the most important. Excuse me if there are too many. Thanks!!!

1: More beds will come as the city levels up.

2:15 settlers for rotc optimized city plans ,20 settlers for the other rotc cps and most city plans will range from 10 and up.

3:The mega Packs contain addons that havnt been upgraded in a while and they all add a huge varity of different plots. The Contest city plan packs will add more city plans

4:Yes you can do that

5: Check the Local settings in the city planners holotape ,setting them will onlyaffect the settlement you are in.

6: you have to go to every settlement to manage things ;)

1: Normally a City Plan should contain enough residential Plots for the Settler limit it is at. Those have to be build first though. So depending on your settings it might take some time to finish building.
Robots don't use Residential plots so I would suggest building a custom settlement just for robots.
You can also disable the Recruitment to stop at the City Plan Limit which would make more settlers appear than the City Plan can handle. Or you can manually send settlers to an already full Settlement which could break the City Plan limit.

2: If you use a City Plan there will be a limit to settlers depending on the City Plan and its level.

3: They add new Plot building plans. Meaning the houses that appear on the plots are different. Also some of them do add other things. If you look into the description on Nexus you can see Mega Pack 2 for example adds a City Plan for Vault 88, a new City Leader, more City planners Desks and Flags.

4: There is no limit to the number of Plots afaik, but you also need to have settlers to work them. So here I would recommend not using City Plan and build beds yourself. You can also set specific plots to not auto upgrade so you can really use any level you want for them. (This goes both for normal and advanced industrial afaik)

5: You can change this locally per settlement. Build a City Planners Desk or build a Terminal and insert your settings Holotape, then go to Options -> Gameplay Options -> Local and here you can change settlement specific settings to override the global setting. Though I think this is only for upgrading Plots not for upgrading City Plan.

6: You can see the status of settlements in your Pip-Boy Data -> Workshops, though this only displays the base Game information and not Sim Settlement. Also for any managing you have to go to each settlement individually. As tip use "Show supply lines" on the Map to easier navigate.

PS: If you want more City Plans check out the City Plan Contest Packs

Thanks Moonwolf for the answer!!!
Yes, on Spectacle Island I'll build myself... I hope I won't break the game if I have too many settlers there.
I understand 21 is the maximum number I should have on every settlement, right?

A couple of general tips,
1. Do not panic if you think settlements are not progressing. SS runs scripts to execute city plans and upgrades. These need time and materials.
2. It is normal for settlers to stand around and do jack squat complaining about the bed situation.
3. You will not get severely penalized if you fail to run around like a headless chicken when given a 'help defend xx settlement' quest. You will only lose some caps and some XP.
4. If you build your own settlements, do not be afraid to use items that are not from SS.
5 HAVE A BLAST.
