Question Latest Bug Issue for Workshop Framework for 2.3.6

Hey everyone. I've encountered issue with the latest version of workshop framework version 2.3.6 after updating from the previous version of workshop framework. I did the same thing for updating the sim settlement 2 (even download and install SS2 Chapter 3), by replacing with SS2 - All chapters to download and install it on my MO2.

For the workshop framework latest version I got this message when loading the games in my current save file and I got this message:

"Workshop Framework has encountered an error! Your Workshops array seems to have invalid entries, probably due to removed settlement mods. It is not recommended to continue playing this save"

I don't believe that I've have some settlement mods that I've remove other than just updating both my SS2 and SS2 Chapter 2 (by replacing with SS2 All Chapters instead).
Also, I'm not the only one that I've encountered since there's few people that did encountered this similar message that I did have. Here's the link if you wanted to talk a look at for more detail:

If there's any suggestions that I can try to troubleshoot more, then I'll do my best with my abilities as I can do. I did include this screenshot of the message from workshop framework in-game when loading my current save and even attach my loadorder.txt if you wantedt o analyze it more for which mods that would cause this issue. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this message.

Thank you,
From Vinh Xuan Michael Tran

I'm running into this as well, also posted a comment on the WFW thread on Nexus. No settlements mods were downloaded let alone removed on my end (though I know that's just a "probably" and not a for sure cause. SS2, Chapter 2, SS2 Extended, and WFW have all been updated and Chapter 3 has been installed. (But I did still get this error when I temp disabled Chapter 3 and SS2 Extended).
I have yet to try it on a new character (I'm at work now) but I did see people saying they got this error regardless of whether they had an existing or new save.

I wonder if it's checking a 'list' of workshop names and some of them are empty? or something to that nature. I have some mods that when adding a workshop, the workshop name will be 'empty' though I'm sure the workshop reference is valid. I think Sombre Mountain does this... but don't quote me on it.

Were you able to start a new character without getting a same error message?

Won't be able to verify in a few hours since I'm still at work, but will let you know if I get the same error.
I'm gonna try to get the all-in-one package (with SS2, CH2, CH3, and SS2E combined) instead of having the individual packages, since I saw someone say that fixed an unrelated issue they were having

Did you uninstall C1 and 2 and then install the all chapters? It's possible for this error to occur if mods are removed mid-playthrough.

Ch 3 is available on its own to be downloaded for folks who already have C1 and 2 installed.

So swapping out the individual chapters with the all in one didn't seem to change anything.
I went to an earlier save and didn't get the WFW error, though I'm not sure if it's because that save was too early - it was right out of the Vault, without any workshops (or SS2) unlocked.
I'm really hoping we don't need to restart to play Chapter 3, since we were able to start Chapter 2 on existing saves perfectly fine :( But I get it if it changes too much

I had that error in my save, so I tried using another save in progress i downloaded from the internet because I didn't want to start over my resources from 0. It has no mods, only missing CC paint stuff. And the only progress donw is it has claimed 15 settlements.

Interestingly enough it gives the same error message on startup which is weird. Is it possible the error message is bogus?

Ive run into this issue on my new character appearing in Vault 111. I didnt remove any files so I tried stuffing it with ever SS2 mod I have to no avail. I finally gave up and just started playing and everything seems fine. <.<

I tried using resaver to clean the save. It said it cleaned up 222 instances of unattached scripts. Sadly F4SE still says Im missing mods when I log in.
¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

Hold on, you have unattached scripts on a new save? Let alone over 200 of them? That's not normal and definitely not good, I would say 20 is already a lot. Or is this another save you're talking about? Should only happen on a save where you've removed mods and their scripts become junk.

`First I want to say I have NOT updated to 3.0b yet, I also want to say I have played a few times and cheated, I used unlock tools, building classes so on, and I believe this is not a false bug.
I decided the day the game got updated to 3.0 to restart and stop when I helped Preston, I built my own Sanctuary, Afarm and Sunshine, and then tried to use the inbuilt settlement plans Oberland, and then tried Red Rocket, BOTH failed to do anything, even after using an older save.
I stopped using city plans other than the ones that came with the original mod, so seems like something is bugged there, I have not removed any mods since the new start which was a save just inside Vault 111, and I am using the 3 separate files version, I also admit I used scrapall in console.

Yup, chiming in to say I'm getting this, too, and honestly cannot think of anything of what mods I may have deleted to trigger it. Pretty sure I haven't.
It would suck pretty hard if I had to start again, I've been putting off updating the antennae as the final step of Ch 2 and just building up really badass idyllic settlements waiting for Ch 3, and the idea of scrapping all that work just makes me sad.
