Industrial plot bug (maybe)

So i went back to SS2 after a year or two, i am currently at the quest how to HQ, and im allways lacking the last two kind of materials, anyone know what i did wrong? I dont even found how to produce them.

To unlock Machine Parts you need to upgrade an Organics plot to level 2. Then upgrade the machine parts plot to level 2 to unlock rare materials.
Although it would be weird that you haven't already reached that stage by How to HQ.

is there any way to ubgrade them manualy or i just need to wait it out?

You can upgrade plots manually, but if you have it set for automatic upgrades they will upgrade as soon as possible as long as you have the appropriate resources.
If you have a look at your organics plot with the holo-icons on, it will tell you if there is a reason it can't upgrade (ie, unhappy face, defense icon, etc)
