Gauging Livestream interest

I gave that a shot. It's now been over 48 hours ingame since I gave that order and left HQ to go put even more Industrial plots around the network, and the "clear out the infestation" quest marker hasn't left my pipboy yet.
Yes it was a pity you got a bug, but overall the video did help explain the workshop better. as when I watched Kinggath's live play through he was too quick so I could not keep up with him,

Part of the reason I was going slowly was actually a tip for HQ in and of itself; if you look closely, you'll notice that I (at least try to) wait for the meters on the top HUD bar to empty after a project completes, before I even go back into 'build mode' to issue more. Giving it enough time to finalise scripts like that seems to help it run a lot more smoothly.

Oh, and the other thing i mentioned i was going to test: no, you can't send that Quantum Radstag from that one CreationClub mission to HQ

It's sad that the infestation borked like that. Meanwhile I got my first and only attack on HQ (turned those on) and guess what, nothing spawned there either, just empty markers. The disasters and diseases are 2 chapter 2 systems I'd play around with a hell lot but they're so unpolished currently. Well, diseases less and less, disasters still need a lot of love.

I've never even seen an Attack one; but that still defaults to OFF on new characters for some reason.

And yeah, I'm poking around down in that room right now. There's no enemies anywhere I can find, doing a kah doesn't do anything, and that Security Mission to clear it for me "autocancels" without deducting any Energy?

Additionally, I've noticed while doing the above that the "PA System" plays the messages calling for Science Department Personnel before you've even unlocked that department.

Anddd it ends with an unclearable infestation. The first one, that's depressing. But yeah.
I've been thinking that the 15 people objective is like "build 8 houses" for the second quest, but on steroids. It's long and unnecessary. Well, not so long for this character since you prepared for this and sent them all to Egret in advance, not to mention knowing exactly what to build for quarters, but still.
I specifically hate the recruiter 15 settlers quest you have to build every living quarters option you can find and hope it’s enough I honestly wish that the way the cleaning and building was done was not a north south weasel east directional based thing it makes it unnecessarily hard to figure out room locations (personally I wish the rooms where numbered and then sub numbered from there) and the clean to build option is kind of meh it should just be clean location not clean location for blank that way I can use the interface outside to choose what to build independent from cleaning the room. Unfortunately Fo4 engine probably has very specific things that had to be done to work within it so we get what we got.

Yeah, it's now been over an ingame week since that Infestation Event spawned in the Water Treatment room, and it's still not resolved.

Doing the "Security Mission" to send them to do it plays a little drumbeat noise then the Blue Man disappears, no Security Energy is marked off on the HUD, and nothing happens. And I ran a kah and noclipped out of the map looking for potential molerats or whatever and nothing changed.
The question becomes... what causes these Disasters to 'break' like this?

... maybe we need an Advanced Tool added to the Holotape of "clear all disasters" since based on forum reports I'm far from the only one to see this happen.

Lucky I kept a hard save before even starting quest "How to HQ" tbh
