Old Post Faction recruits (minutemen) turning hostile

I'm running the Minutemen faction add-on pack as I don't like the raider play style. However, I am running into an issue (not to mention that Preston Garvey sent me on a radiant quest to talk to the settlers at Outpost Zimonja - i.e. Boomer) that randomly when in a vassal or outpost that I own, either the recruits will turn hostile towards one of their own (that includes turrets shooting at them as well), or the recruits and / or settlers will turn on me. I've had this happen on multiple occassions now, even after loading a previous save game.

Another little quibble, if I have a companion with me that is not Gage at times they will hate it during any liberator quests, even though I am not killing settlers (so much that the pop up to return them to a settlement will come up). Plus, the settlers will complain as if I were raider, not a liberator.

I am not at all sure this will help but was this a new game or did you install the faction pack later?

Is the faction pack overwriting Conqueror? Below it?

Both are wild-ass guesses?
 
I installed after creating a new game. I installed Conqueror, then the faction add-on. The faction is after Conqueror in the load order (used Loot to sort as well).

Good, at least that is something.

I would maybe ask the Minutemen faction add-on pack author. The tool hasn't been out very long and likey some of the authors are learning.

Still, it does sound like something has gotten garbled.

If it works here the quickest way to deal with the hostility issue is to sleep for 24 hrs and they reset.

Sorry, I'm not much help but it isn't clear to me which mod is the one causing your problems. :scratchhead

Update: I can't even walk into my latest acquired outpost - Outpost Zimonja. The minutemen there immediately become hostile to me. I'm going to post on the Nexus page for the Minutemen add-on pack as well.

Try this out : after the raid, leave the grounds and come back a little later (space matters more than time, just go far enough or fast travel once). I experience a similar thing with conqueror raiders, the captives in the making stop being hostile for a minute after being conquered and then become hostile again as if not registering their defeat. The solution to that is leaving so that they turn unaggressive again. Once that is done, the problem is resolved ad eternam.
 
I completely left the area following the quest. Fast traveled to Red Rocket, slept 24 hours, then returned but with the same response.
