Custom Content or Other Mods?

Let me start by saying that Sim Settlements 2 has been a blast to play, and despite it being made as a mod for an existing game, I genuinely believe it is far better than Fallout 4's main story, but complements what is already there perfectly.

Now, whilst playing, I'm sure many have noticed a MOUNTAIN of custom content. Outfits, armour, settlement objects etc.

I'd like to know if it's all custom and unique to SS2, or if there are other mods included in SS2. I ask because Algernon's armour was, at one point, a mod (I'm not sure if it still is).
