Crash CTD Greygarden

Hello All,

I have a save with over 100 hours of gameplay I'm trying to fix. I have a CTD situation whenever I fast travel or get close to the load cell of Gregarden.
I've tried following the advice I've seen elsewhere on these forums, but none of the solutions I've tried have worked.
  • I've updated all my mods
  • I've run FallrimTools Resaver on my save file
  • I've tried going back to a save file that works, but haven't found one that works within the last 24 hours of gameplay
  • I've attempted to approach the settlement from multiple directions and without looking directly at the settlement
  • I've tried disabling both notifications and auto upgrades
Any other advice people could point me toward that might allow me to once again visit the settlement?

Re: Whotay
I followed Buffout4 and Crash Log Auto-Scanner. While it pointed out some other stability issues which I resolved, those other errors didn't solve my CTD.
The remaining error pointed back to a powergrid issue with the settlement.

How I solved this issue:
1) Download Transfer Settlement
2) Load game, find a location near your settlement but do not crash.
3) Find a nearby object to use as a target to move the broken settlements workshop temporarily, and record its ID code by left-clicking on it in the console.
4) Identify the Workshop ID of the broken settlement
5) Enter these Commands into the Console:
Code:
prid [Workshop ID]
moveto [Random Item Code]
moveto [Random Item Code]
(The second moveto command prevents the workshop from producing visual tears on screen)
6) Activate the workshop. Transfer Settlement should inform you that you have a broken power grid and will try and fix it.
7) (Hopefully) Waltz into your Settlement. Repeat the moveto commands in reverse on something in your settlement to move the workshop back. I created a doormat in the creation mode and used that to park the Workshop back within the settlement confines.

You went for the hard way. The easy way to repair or destroy a power grid is through Workshop Framework’s options. You’ll find a remote settlement tool that will allow you to solve the issue from a distance. If you destroy the power grid, then you have to re-wire the settlement (options have been added for that too).

If you have MCM, the path to follow is Mod Config>Workshop Framework>Tools>Remote Settlement Recovery Menu. You can also search this option in the Workshop Framework Holotape, but I don't know the specific path.
