Hello everyone,
First thing to say I love the work on SS and SSQ you people have done here. Simply put the level of enjoyment I have in playing Fallout now is way above then without it. Thanks to the people like you, games like this lives on for very long(in games world lifetime) and through them so do we
We all know that SS and SSQ are hungry when it comes to script engine. They take a big part of it. But as play Fallout more and more I come to desire to play it more challenging. Then to the scene comes Pack Attack mod by Greslin. In combination with other mods they make combat and survival more to my taste. Like SS and SSQ dose the same in area of building and empire managment.
Question is. Does the hunger for script engine of SSQ deminish if I create all settlments(that can be created at start of a new game, without settlements that are quest releted) at level 3 and use SSQ mehanic to conquer them? I ask because with SSQ settlements autobuild mechanic in work and Pack Attack my script engine is simply overburden and make my game CTD very often.(I tried with playing with performace options in both mods, but I dum Pack Attack AI soo much that NPC combat become easier then vanila and make SSQ very slow and after that my game still CTD often).
This is my last solution as user to try to make my game run without to much problems that I have with both mods in my load order. My little hack sort of speak and hope to have best of both worlds.
If the answer is that SSQ is still script hungry as with settlments on levels below lv 3 then I will simply go on with my current SSQ oriented game and when I finish, I will start my next playthrough where I will orient more on combat and survival aspect of the game which dose make me sad because that means no SSQ im my load order on that playthrough which is a shame, a real shame.
