Question Conquerer Start Up Debug Menu

SO I went to start a new game tonight and when I went into conqueror to try the new war options and when it popped up to pick my factions it was empty and said DEBUG PANEL at the bottom. I am having this issue in the settlment and city plan picker as well.I have disabled all my other mods except the contest entries, workshop framework and plus, and hud frame work. And of course Sim Settlments (3-in-1) I am using the latest version of the mod. I am using the latest versions of the mods. I have never seen this before so I have no clue what could cause it.

Are those inventory titles different to normal? Could you have a mod which changes inventory sorting that might have moved things? Can you shift those so that the title is back to the start 'My Inventory' page where I'm guessing the settlement items might more likely to be found?

I had same 100% exact experience just now on new game start. Makes game unplayable, unfortunately.

Using Bi Rait Bec's load order system, which includes 3-in-1; but not Conqueror. Plus about 40 other mods, most of them on KingGath's latest mod list . First time I ever installed SS & SS Conqueror; all d/l'd yesterday. I use VIS-G for sorting.

To answer your last question, "My Armor" arrow toggles are unresponsive. Only the two empty 'inventory' boxes that should be showing settlement names.

Will deactivate Conqueror and see if 3-in-1 can be played normally.

Update:

can exit to main menu, as OP reported. Can continue, and again get Conqueror start-up prompt. Trying to select settlements, levels will result in freeze, as per above. Selecting pre-build (random selection/level??) results in Conqueror appearing to load normally.

Since I've got custom mods for Sanctuary, Abernathy, Ten Pines, and a few others...this might not go well.

That looks like espExplorer mod? Which is a FO4SE program... wouldn't be something to unenable, but uninstall...

Hey all,

I know you-all know the drill.

Being I just re-installed my game a few weeks ago including Vis-G and the new EspExplorer + 460 other mods, then I assume this is a relatively new bug maybe from the last patch?

So, I can forward this on let’s make sure.

Please someone do the same as in the above posts but include the (.txt file of plugs you have enabled) Please limit it to the extent you can and just enable the SS related files.

The screenshots above are essential, but I can see the scripted mods loading in the upper left. Let’s make sure nothing else is enabled when you do this. Disabling the non-plug mods could be very helpful as John said.

When the restart is pure SS related adding all relevant screen shots will be very valuable.

The first thing we need rule out, “is it or is it not” a sim settlement issue.

The best way for us to do this is get the “what is enabled” drill down so folks can duplicate the issue with repeatability.

Don't know if this is relevant to the original Conqueror/SS issue, but I did almost a complete un-/re-install of FO4, with install of the barest Bi Rait Bec load order--with no SS mods. Game started fine; got out of 111 no prob. Standard BRB system, using F4SE on dektop to launch; no Cc mods.

Then in Sanctuary, installed more mods, including: SS 3-in-1, several SS building packs, the SS plot pre-viewer; along with more VIS-G patches. Now game ctd's 100% whenever I hit "i" or "Tab" to access inventory. When interacting with a cooking station, I got this debug message: (damn,...the screenshot isn't showing up in my photo album...). Can open workshop (using MCM-set hotkey); but can't craft or access inventory.

I'll try to describe:
It's a big, almost full-screen white text box with "<My Armor>" as a top header (like the Conqueror bug). In box center, in large red print: "CHECK DEF_INV_TAGS.xml"
Then under bottom border of text box: "Debug Panel"

sounds like you don’t get the install right between vis-g and def_ui

never seen anything like that for conqueror.

I do recommend only installing one mod at a time in an active game and testing it. Better to just make a new profile to test before putting them into a live game.

all those issues at once is likely going to be hard to sort out?

Thanks Raybo, I re-installed Def-ui and it seems to be fixed now. Not sure why it went wonky to start with, but fixed is fixed. appreciate the help.

Yup, me too. Some custom VIS-G patches had overwritten VIS. Now it's all good. I've 5,000 hours into FO4; so once I get a nice fat and stable mod load underway, I'm good for a year or so. Started this new playthrough specifically to try out 3-in-1 and Conqueror.

Not. Will delete all but MinutemenLibs faction, and everything else but Conqueror, and try again.

Ok, Conqueror starts normally: but only with default RotC settlement plans. Will retry, adding Season1 settlement plan pack & Start Me UP.

Nope, game hangs on new game start. Will try the Start Me Up version of pre-built game saves.

Un-/re-installed City pack, and now it works fine! Thanks! Conqueror, here I come!

On another note, it would be great if multiple Faction Profiles could be selected, then assigned to specific pre-built settlements. I'm thinkin' Gunners in Somerville & Murkwater; Supermutants in Greentop; Raiders at Zimonja, Cottage, Oberland. It'd be great to have a Trappers faction as well, placed at Dalton & Echo.

Disable conqueror. do the character creation.

Hard save. Exit Game.

Reload... wait.... hard save and exit.

Enable conqueror. Reload.

Should be fine. It isnt mystic pines.
