Can't use workshops anymore in fallout 4 after clearing locked scripts!!

Hi my first post sorry if it's in wrong category.
I use PC Fallout Version 1.10.50 F4SE Version 0.6.4.
My PC Specs.
Ram: 8GB
Vram: 4GB and this is on integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics which is not good for games at all and some games don't recognize it. i used to have AMD Radeon but it melted in the laptop apparently (what utter fucking bullshit, if i so much as install the driver on my laptop i will get infinite boot loop + Blue screens of death)
HDD: 1 TB: 1000 GB
Laptop: Lenovo Z51-70 (never buy this laptop my stupid parents bought it for me without my knowing and i have regretted it since after 2 months of using it and i have been grinding by with it for the part 2 years i might as well marry it cause my and this laptop fit the statement "for better or for worse" perfectly)

TLDR: Can't use any settlement workshops or complete minuteman settlement quests after following instructions from this thread. https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/clearing-locked-workshop-scripts.3830/ No i do not have Workshop Framework or Workshop Plus.

Sooooooo, my settlements crash when i run toward them from miles away or when i fast travel to them. The thing is this wasn't happening before with and without Sim Settlements using the exact same character and exact same mods, but once the settlers start building on their own ---- CRASH!!. This is my 4th character that i've made because of mods killing all my other saves so now i have perfected my mods but as soon as i assigned Garvey as leader of Sanctuary everytime i go there (they have built stuff already the settlers) it crashes and also Abernathy farm crashes even tho i haven't even done the quest to unlock that settlement also starlight drive-in had no crashes then i assigned Piper there and the settlers put up some concrete beams and as soon as i went close to those beams the game just melted away in a fiery CTD with no messages or errors. As some other threads advised, i bolted away from any settlement and i opened the City Manager 2078 holotape and went to performance options and turned everything off except the last two or three options. Still getting the crashes, so i opened up Fallrim tools and I filtered all scripts and stuff to show only ones generated by Sim Settlements. I put in a screen print, Script instances is 5617?!?! I was like of wtf? Then i saw in another post kinggath said the normal was 20 then i was like WTF?!?!?!? So anyway i followed instrcutions in this thread https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/clearing-locked-workshop-scripts.3830/ because the problem in that thread was also affecting me even though it wasn't the main problem at the time but it was a problem so i followed the steps there (NO I DO NOT HAVE WORKSHOP FRAMEWORK OR WORKSHOP PLUS) and then after doing that i got the popup then i just ran around the wasteland hard saving and quicksaving multiple times and killing raiders and stuff and then i went back to a settlement and no crash, and then i was super happy that after five hours i finally got it so i closed the game without attempting to open any workshops in any settlements whatsoever. Then i opened the game hoping to carry on with the old guns quest and the first abernathy farm quest even tho i had already gotten the locket from the raiders but then i couldn't enter the worhop at the castle or at sanctuary or anywhere else so i thought that maybe if i do a minuteman quest it will fix this but when i went to Abernathy (no crash) i talked to Mr. Abernathy and it went normal and then when it got to the part of me helping him as sent by the minutemen the dialogue option for me seemed as if i didn't know the minutemen, it was as if i only knew Garvey was in sanctuary cause i helped him to escape there. Two other odd things, i went to concord to the palce where i first me Garvey and i was killing some raiders in slow motion using bullet time and then i shot a raider and ran up to him to loot him while he was falling to the ground in slow mo and then i did an ultra fast death like wtf? i just died in super fast motion and then loaded from my prev save sooo it might be irrelevant maybe i just got wasted by a legengdary raider who was using on of my mod guns which is really OP when me and NPCs use them even when i'm in bullet time if my life is at like half i can die from 1 hit of a bullet from my add on guns. The other thing is that i appear not to know any minutemen and when i try to use a workshop i get a message in the top left saying i'm not allied to this settlement but then all the minutemen Garvey and Ronnie Shaw included all call me General and say Hello Sir and other stuff like they know me so wtf? Is there a way to fix this? kinggath?! ANYBODY?!? i love this game to death and sim settlements just makes it a billion times better i have made 4 fucking playthroughs to get my mods right and i'm willing to make 10 playthtroughs and never finish the game in any just to get my mods right.
P.S. I tried disabling Sim settlements and my save game got corrupted. This is known to happen with mods that rly change the game. -_- Pls help me before i lose the one thing that i actually love unlike my potato PC.

No real ideas on this type of thing. Have you loaded an earlier save before ti got stuffed up?

:( Thx for trying tho. At least it's a start. Well some more info is that i used console to execute a command after adding a script to the scripts folder. Then i saved did some shit and then i saved again then closed and removed the script from the script folder. IDK if that would break it. Well all this should be in the link i posted in the original post.

What he ^^^said...Me too. But for all intents and purposes, a few questions...

1) If you've already removed the script/mod then how far back did you go? ( In saves)

2) Exactly what was the purpose of the script? Is it possible that the effects of the script are STILL in effect even though you've removed it? you also said you "did some Sh^t" Like what? Changed other mods (added/deleted) re-arranged load order?

3)Have you tried the Script to clear out scripts? (Someone wiser, correct me if I'm wrong but some scripts take a while in game to complete once they are executed?)

If I AM correct with #3 then, even if you shut down the game, an incomplete script can still wreak havoc later and Especially if it's gone and its bits were left undone? I believe that's why it's important to be sure they run their course and that is also a part of why the need for a script cleaner even exists, That, and sometimes for a plethora of other reasons, scripts simply get stuck...

4) What does your mod order look like? An attached load order via spoiler will go MILES for someone more skilled than myself to look and see if something else is amiss.

If you've already removed said script it doesn't make sense that suddenly you'd have multiple recurring CTDS... UNLESS you changed something else. Most recurring CTDs are related to Hardware or Conflicting mods or the very common missing textures or assets that a script or mod is calling for...

If all that gives no joy then I'd take a look at the stickies in forum for addressing crashes etc. In fact I'd suggest doing that if you haven't already. There is a lot of good info there. Just know with a game like fallout the best thing you can do, ESPECIALLY when playing with scripts and New mods is to Backup your saves so you can literally revert back to an earlier point. Set aside a folder for ALL your "beforehand good saves" and update them. Especially, when your game is running well because it's not uncommon for some sort of BAD ju-ju to get baked into your save when you are adding and removing stuff. And ALWAYS BACKUP before making changes to an otherwise functional playthrough... Good luck. I wish I could be more help.

2) The purpose of the script was to clear locked workshop scripts so like that bug where when u assign settlers they just run up to the thing u assigned, do that for a second, and then they go back to being unassigned and they never get assigned to it. this script is meant to fix that but it also fixed the fact for me that going near any settlement causes a CTD - no error or warning from windows or anything else.

3) I COMPLETELY FORGOT THAT OMFG AND IT'S IRONIC CAUSE I CLEANED OUT SCRIPTS FROM A SAVE FOR THIS SCRIPT IN QUESTION TO WORK WOW, thx i rly hope that works and i will try it as soon as my dad goes to bed - it's like 3:22 am right now.

4) Lemme put the load order from Nexus here, i have arranged it with Loot and have made 2 changes for castle and minuteman mods which change the appearance of the castle and the minute men and also other stuff for minutemen which can be built in workshop but note that this exact same load order.

Also the CTDs were present only before i used this script it's only after i used the script that crashes stopped but then i couldn't use any workshops :(

And when i say i did "shit" it means that i went to places like Quincy to kill all the gunners there or to gunners plaza or i just ran around in the wasteland and killed radscorps and feral ghouls with a lightsaber with quicksaving and hard saving multiple times all the while and i spent like 15 - 20 minutes in the game so yeah idk why the mod wouldn't complete.
 
Ok so i went into Fallrim and went to scripts and pinpointed the exact script from the 1811 (thank go they were in alphabetical order) now i deleted the script and will try again. Also clearing scripts was a no-go.
 
Take this advice with a grain of salt. I'm no Mod list guru, BUT from my own trial and error and limited knowledge, this is what I MYSELF would look at if I were in your position. Hopefully, someone with a true MODDING cookbook in their brain will chime in and blow my rudimentary givings out of the water to aid in your success. Until that happens and in case that doesn't happen, look at the descriptions, requirements and potential issues via the mod forums of the respective places you DL'd the mods from. Those are EXCELLENT resources for the goodies we snatch up so readily in terms of avoiding and recovering from disasters when using them...

SET 1 - to look into. Do they impact some of the same things? (Possibly causing conflicts)

ITEM 3 - to look into.

aSexMod.esp=1 Do you have all the necessary plugins/animations required? THESE mods are notorious for causing "sticky situations" Especially if you are missing dependencies, plus they aren't always updated as regularly as some of the mods and other bits n bobs they require to function properly.. And they typically have a a very SPECIFIC placement in your load order depending on how they are coded and what they impact. NOT that I would KNOW anything about THESE types of mods... LoL:whistle3:secret


And finally, I also see you have a lot of ENHANCED gameplay appearance mods going on, Maybe you should let some of the game engine power be relaxed by tweaking (within reason) your HW settings and leaving some of that heavy lifting to the HW? It's a regular occurrence that, anytime you rely primarily on mods/scripts to change the game/world appearance too much, there is a higher chance that there will ALWAYS be SOMETHING pulling thread power away from general gameplay processing all for the purpose of improving the visuals in a game that won't have enough juice to keep running... This is certainly true when avoiding ULTRA everything because your HW can't handle it, but then DEMANDING higher than ULTRA everything via scripts and mods. You'd easily end up with the same result of OVERTAXING your HW but with much more immediate results in some instances...

Just that bit up there about the enhancements is a major thing, Think along the lines of avoiding the high cost of a FANCY projector for the media room but then going out to buy a fancy screen, Room darkening sound dampening curtains and special dark wall paint to keep the image as sharp as possible. Your wallet would likely end up just as empty if you had purchased the good projector. In this case, your system is the projector and all the extra visual gameplay enhancements are the curtains, screen etc.
And when it comes to overhauls and mods that do similar things/impact the same assets and resources you get a bunch of scripts fighting to the death to change the same things in different ways, NEVER GOOD...

Ok. i totally get where your m=coming from and believe me i have thought all that through a thousand and 1 times. all the Live Dismemberment plugins are all from one mod actually and all require each other to run, i tried disabling one and the game crashed on startup also aSexMod i load it first in my load order or wll as high as mod load orderly possible, also literally anything that is ANYTHING that changes appearance and texture is on running on 2k or below if that's even possible, i mean i had grass mods and took them out because of crashing even tho they weren't actually causing the crashing, and i also have optimized vanilla textures and Texture optimization project installed and i heard they go really well together and i rly haven't had problems with either since and really to be honest the only two mods that concern me are the two minutemen mods as you can see the militarized minute men is lower in my load order because it only changes clothes and spawn minutemen but minutemen 2.0 changes what can be built and spawned in workshops and also spawns minutemen but i had never gotten far enough into the game to test it unfortunately so idk that's really what i am only thinking about.

I don't mean to be rude or an asshole or anything and i totally get and respect what you are getting at and where yuo're coming from it's just that let's face my computer is the definition of a failed Lenovo hunk of metal it is completely unreliable and total shit, i swear the only two things that work right is the keyboard and the screen ok and the ports for USB and such, that's it. if u open the laptop up vitually everything inside has been melted by heat and it pretty cool where i stay and the laptop is almost never under direct sunlight. Anyway the AMD piece of crap graphic card is probably melted or the connecting port or cable is so i use intel integrated graphics to play and for 2 nasty years i have been embalmed in the face of planet Low-FPS, shitty performance, graphic mods in games. i mean i played GTA V with this graphic card without using those mods that make the game textures 2 dimension. i played Watch dogs 2 but stopped midway cause i was just spoiling the game for myself, i'm playing Far Cry 3 even tho it's not that high end of a game so i mean knowing that i have to reduce setting and avoid certain mods is not a new thing to me, again not trying to turn you down and i really appreciate the help cause you gave me good ideas so please keep trying i am completely open to your suggestions.

No offense taken man. I understand your frustration, But it sounds like you may have the answer already.
Rather than give you another long laundry list, I’ll limit it to these two...

1) If it was working before and it’s not now, try old(ER) saves and if still no dice, a FRESH playhrough may be in order, paying close attention to load order and dependencies as well as installation order, in terms of what’s getting over written.


2) HARDWARE...And just what your expectation is vs real world capabilities as they may apply to a “well seasoned” Lenovo.

All I’ve said so far and this current post is the limit of what I can offer. Hopefully you can get it sorted out. Maybe someone else will have more beneficial advice for your situation. Good luck. :drinks
 
Thx man. i am doing a new playthrough right now and i was in cinematic mode after assigning Garvey as leader of Sanctuary i tried to exit cinematic mode.... CRASH!!!!! :(
 
Ok well i resolved that crash by loading an older save and then staying inside the settlement and waiting for cinematic mode to initialize and the i left sanctuary to do some minuteman quests and then i got notifications about building being built in Sanctuary and so i fast traveled there and the game froze for about 7 - 10 seconds that a CTD but i traveled to Abernathy twice and no crash but it wasn't using Sim Settlements so is it my laptop that is bad or my load order or Sim settlements is too heavy for my game? I will remove a settlement mod that i really won't be using if i have sim settlements and try again.
 
Ok i found the solution. i started a new game then disabled three mods caled CROSS Jetpack, CROSS Cybernetics, and CROSS Jetpack and Cybernetics fix!!! THANK YOU JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH FINALLY, the jetpack will be missed but screw that i'll use another mod for it or power armor. Thank you all so much i really belive i couldn't have resolved this without you guys so again the fix for me is if you have CROSS Cybernetics or CROSS Jetpack or both with the fix uninstall and delete them completely and Sim Settlements won't crash.

I have had a brief look at your mods and a few worry me, but maybe if you are running fine for now, best to leave it and see how you go.

I'm glad you got it sorted... In the vein of an IT guy, I will say this... JUST like @GA_Darkerside said, some of your list still would concern me if I were in your position, simply because they are HEAVY mods and they will always be fighting for position and right to resources and assets.

So the more stuff you add the more intensely the engine and your HW will work to complete the tasks they are given, up to their limits... Which could be anything based solely on the description of the rig you play on and my understanding of how those mods will play... But as usual with FO4 if its working, burn some incense light a candle or say a prayer. (or all of the above).
Simply enjoy your playthroughs and try to figure out the limits for YOUR setup while staying close enough to the limits to be happy but far enough below to not have problems... And that my friend, will ALWAYS be relative to how your setup works and what you are doing with it.
 
Thanks SavageRock. Yes i am saying prayers like crazy everytime the game hangs for even a split second. Well obviously some CTDs are inevitable but now they are few and far between. Since i started the new playthrough only 3 CTDs and i have done 7 hrs so far. Again thanks to all of you.

And a stupid question here: How do i make this thread solved?
