Buffout 4 and crash troubleshooting

Never had that crash. I would look for mods with navmeshes and either change the load order or remove the culprit, if you can find it. I'm no expert, though :unknw. By the way that warning against HUDCaps looks serious!
ye i m unsure of what could be... atm testing with the basic ss2 load order

Not sure why the site necrod this post up and showed it to me :P

Sorry to necro this thread but I've been having this crash issue while trying to fast travel to Sanctuary. When I finally gave up and just fast traveled to Red Rocket and walked to Sanctuary, a large portion of the pieces of my SS2 buildings were gone so I thought I should post it here in hopes anyone has a solution.

Have you messed with your plot packs? Ive found something so simple as sorting them in vortex reorders them so the game cant figure out whats 'supposed' to be there.

Another possabilities is the plots only had 0-2 levels and lacked a 3 so when it upgraded it upgraded to nothing.

If you dont use the WSFW override mod you might try it. It can make things work much more easily.

Try loading an old save and see if their missing there too. If so its something outside of SS2.

Good luck!

Head into the light.

Oh another note. Have you upgraded/changed any of your computer's hardware? I unplugged a drive not ued by Fallout and the game freaked out. :P

Added or removed a mod? Upgraded SS2?

Resaver might be something to try using to clean a test file and see if ti finds anything wrong. If yoyu jave Vortex you can right click on a save and tell it to try and match the mods.

First of all: I apologize for this late reply, I coulda replied sooner I just had no idea anyone would reply so quick! :clap Thank you so much for your insight, I am overjoyed and touched! ♥

This helps me out so much. I did in fact add a bunch of additional SS2 packs (i.e: superstructures) because I wasn't aware they existed until like 2 days into my game. I'll try the Override mod but hm. Maybe I should just start a new save? I don't know if this current one is salvageable but if it is that'd be great! I'll also try the Vortex idea you gave me in this reply and update with the result.

Thank you again!

UPDATE/EDIT: My dumb self lol. I forgot I already have the Override mod for WSFW. I also use LOOT to make sure everything is in order. I'm like 90% sure it's the fact I added SS2 content this deep into the game but I wasn't aware it'd be such an issue. My bad. Now I'm just wondering if I should run a new game or if I can somehow fix this one.

Downloaded Resaver and it says:
There are 53 script instances that are not attached to anything in-game. This is usually caused by uninstalling mods, or by updating mods that are not safe to update.
Ran Resaver's clean function and now it's not showing that issue again. Any progress is good progress!

EDIT AGAIN, IT'S GETTING LONG I KNOW: Tried asking around on the Nexus modding Discord and man I was told my save is pretty much borked which is fine. I'm ok with restarting, I did it to myself. At least now I know you can't just add SS2 side content/mods willy nilly, woops!

Any chance someone could check this out, My game crashes a lot in Boston on the Hospital quests and now the Venture Capitalism Quest, unable to talk to Lydia without a CTD.

See if this helps some...
It'll take a few minutes to upload. I'd wait until 2160p processing is done, otherwise it'll be really blurry. It's due to my screen size unfortunately.
