Can I ask a clarification question? On the obviously necessary red rockets settlement mod the description says the mod is not a drop in replacement, or something similar, and that you have to start a new game for these settlements.

Does that mean you need to start a new game if you were using the old mod, or you have to start a new game either way?

Ahh great. I’m always interested to check out new city plans. Let me just say too, I’ve played with some of your other ones and they’re great. In general the level of creativity that goes into these is amazing.

Unfortunately, and I’m sure you are well aware of this, because I’m on xbox it’s not possible to have all those add-ones. Are there certain ones that are really the mustest of the must?

Newer plans are designed with XB1 in mind (well, city contest rules + dlc - but that's close enough).

Good Question. Officially none are essential, but some are more useful than others.

I will assume that you have the Industrial Revolution XPAC installed. I'll try to list in order the more important ones. New plans will have a level 3 walkthrough video (like this one) so if you don't have the exact plot plan, you can pick something similar.

Wasteland Ventures 1 on Xbox will give you the most overall plots that I use. You won't get the WV2 plots unfortunately, but you could find suitable alternatives in one of the other packs.

ILS is on Xbox and you should have it. It's in every single one of my city plans.

I tend to use the Year One Megapack for exterior plots, and "featured" plots. It's nice to have, and has some of the plots that I would also select from other packs, like Altairps farms. This is also where the artillery plots come from.

At this point you will have a large selection - but may need to manually change the plot choice to something appropriate.

If you still have room, I'd add:

Vault-Tec Tools, I use furniture, and quite a few internal plots from it in recent city plans.

Junk Town for exterior plots, and "featured" plots. It's nice to have.

Industrial City is my last "important" one that I'd try to fit in. Great for robots and specialised industrial plots.
