First things first, yes I am tracking the XDI bug, however I don't know if it's too late because I didn't know about it until after I hit a wall.
So I'm doing the quest as you do, I kill studge or whatever his name is because "Nobody points a gun at me". And life goes on. The people have a little chat about leaders and what not and then they ask me to pick a leader. I choose not to choose one. I send them to Outpost Zimonja, then a text box comes up and says something along the lines of "Studge is the leader and we are going to outpost zimonja". At first I thought ok no big deal game did a funny. I get to the outpost, clear it, use the workbench and fiddle around a bit and then the people show up. I try talking to them, not a word. I can trade with Huburt and the other female (i forgor her name). Old Sam has his normal dialoge, and Theresa say aboslutly nothing, the square root of jack. I don't have a save to revert to. What do?
