Weirdest thing you've built?

For me it was today. Out of a rare moment of inspiration to build something in Fallout without Settlements, I built a tomb. But the story as to why must come first.
I played through Nuka-World as a raider, doing everything and even romancing Gage along the way with my charming raider ways, but I had a change of heart after the main questline of Nuka-World, and slaughtered the raiders one by one, leaving Gage for last at the Red Rocket to the East.
Once he was dead, I didn't loot him. I built a metal box near the fuel pumps, placed his body within it, blocked the box off with walls, then wrote 'R.I.P Porter Gage' in yellow neon on the side, ringed it with raider spikes and turrets.

Once I was done, I looked at my work and thought 'Wow, Gage must have really rubbed off on me...' :P

I still remember my Uituit raider martial plot coupled with his rec plot at Jamaica Plains. So much good. :grin

Hey, the two fit perfectly side-by-side :) this is the entrance, present your sacrificial entrance offering right here before you can continue into the rest of the Settlement ;)

hehe I need to hit my head a few times and do some more crazy plots :P

To stick to the op’s topic...

I built a spiral into the sky at Sanctuary using the 30-degree wedges as a central staircase (I think it might be hidden somewhere in the Settlement Showcase). It actually was a double spiral and worked quite well for interior residential and commercial.

The only problem that it had was the rec plot on the 2nd level - a bunch of visitors always gathered on the ground underneath. It was that which taught me to always put rec plots on the ground rather than up in the air.

It seems that the visitor AI exhibits more pathing issues than the regular AI. (Though tbh why would you make your “flavor” visitors as smart, and therefore as CPU-hungry, as your settlers? You wouldn’t.)

I hope that my experience with it is both interesting and educational for y’all. :)

im sane honest :jester

I was working on a ghoul faction pack , but I have to many projects going on , I wanted to add plots and heaps of decorations and even a city plan . the city plan is done for level 3 just need to do the other levels but no idea when I can lol

Hey intestines arnt icky they yummy :P

Take your time. Those of us who play FO4 with SS would rather have quality over quantity, well that’s what I prefer.
