Primary Bug Report Vim and Vigor - Cannot interact with Vit-O-Matic to progress quest

Hello all. I have an issue with the Vito-Matic in Vault 81. I can't pick it up. Its there but I can't pick it up or interact with it. I complete the three quests before hand just fine but once I get to go and get the device I simply have no ability to interact with it. Its a bit like Let Sleeping Dogs Lie and the Pug issue which I also have but this Vito-Matic I assume is main story so it would seem I can't progress for the time being.

Replying to myself..chuckle. I kind of fixed it. I just stood in front of it for a while and kept clicking on it and after a while I could pick it up. I'll leave this here just in case anyone else has this issue.

Yeah, I didn't see a E) function on screen either and so just started clicking. It eventually did an animation.

If you interact with it you pick it up. It seems that the prompt just wasn't there or something.

I also noticed that there was no tooltip, but I was able to click on it and got the amusing little animation to run

Same here, no interaction options were visible, thanks to this post I just pushed buttons until the animation played.

Who do I talk to about the blueprint? I see a new guy in the vault by the entrance but nothing triggers when I speak to him.

Sorry if you already tried this but make sure the blueprints are in your inventory when you talk to the new guy otherwise you can't ask him about them.

So before I arrive at Vault 81, I should have the blueprints already?

Yes, you should have gotten them at the Vault Tec HQ I think.

I was able to activate the animation of retrieving the Vit-O-Matic but the quest marker is still there and not complete. Any help?

I'm also having this issue. The marker is there and I have the Vit-O-Matic in my inventory.

This is still a thing in December as well. I'll try hanging out a bit more and see if I can interact with it after waiting for a bit.

Edit: As other have reported, I sat in the chair, waited a bit, then stood up and got the notification that I received the Vit-O-Matic whos-a-ma-doodle. The quest marker did go away after I received the device.

For me there was no icon appearing to interact with it but I just pointed to it and pressed E, I also waited a few hours before.
