How do we get mayors to do both. It seems to be one or the other with me. On a side note i have a couple settlers that seem to want to work 2+ jobs. I have a settler at RR that shows working both a commercial doctor plot and my power station. Power works as intended and she gives the doctor dialog too. If I click on the plots to track occupant it shows her at both jobs.

Here is what I have seen. On some City plans if I assign the leader through the desk its a 50/50 once the city is built that they are either just on the desk or also on a plot. If i assign a settler by click them then the desk, and then start a city plan, there is a 50/50 that once the city is built they will go to a plot and abandon the desk or will stay on the desk and do nothing else. If I manually try and assign a mayor to a plot after they are assigned the desk they go to plot and abandon desk. If I then reassign them to the desk they abandon the plot and work the desk. And then there is the weird, X leader needs a desk or nothing will be built message even though there is a desk and the game forcing me to build sometimes multiple desks. I'd love to know the proper way, if it exists to get the mayor to also work a plot or is this NOT the way it should work and the mayor is only supposed to mayor.

Kinggath released a beta v1.0.6a here that addresses a bunch of city plan issues. You could try it and post your findings.

I'm pretty sure that the mayor is only supposed to work the desk. I thought Kinggath squashed the multi assignment bug in a patch some time back. It seems it may have mutated... it might need some Rad Away.

i am running the most current version 1.0.6a however sometimes i still see recourses do the 999 thing and I thought the update changed that to 9999. 1.0.6 did fix some issues for me, I also started a new playthrough when i updated. It allowed me to play all of chapter one almost bug free.
